I'll start; It was this racing game, playstation 1 maybe, where you had all kinda wacky weapons on the cars, objective was to destroy others I think. Most notably, in this one map, after some time had passed, a meteor would come from the sky and giant ants would appear! I remember getting killed by them.. and now I don't even remember the name of the game, so.. it was a 3rd person racer, mounted weird weapons and mysterious stuff in the game maps, and it's OLD.
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense?
Sounds familiar... edit haha yeah that's the one. fucking hilarious, a classic
Hell yea, search worked. Alright, maybe someone knows these 2 games: view is from the side, I remember in one there were spiders as enemies, in one level a spider was running in the background. 2nd one, same view, dark-theme, had to kill enemies, when you went behind border, the part of the level view changed (for example, | x | | (when you go through the right |, you're in the same level, but the view doesn't "slide") Maybe somebody knows what the hell I'm talking about, these are some very old games as I remember. Nostalgia :/
Pack in the days of Windows 95, my dad had a racing game on his pc. You were in a blue car against a lot of red bots. Graphics weren't very good, but you could drive through sheep and they'd bounce out of the way.
Old game I played on the Amiga. It was a platformer with some African tribal dude as the player character, the game started off with you at the surface of a savanna and you had to go left or right (dont remember which) to go underground where I always died and never got past that spot. I remember a huge rolling boulder which killed me so many times near the start

Sounds like an Oddworld game, or Heart Of Darkness. Assuming it was a platformer.
There's this free online thing, it's kind of like From Dust, with water like that and erosion and all that sort of stuff.

No, I said it's like From Dust, not like Dust Game or whatever it's called. From Dust as in this.
PS1 game. I remember parachuting around a lot and I was on the side of a snowy mountain. That's all I can remember.
Craftscape?
Yes, that's it! Thanks.
Platform? Sounds like an Oddworld game, or Heart Of Darkness. Assuming it was a platformer.
Not a platformer, side shooter or something.
It was a PC only game several years back. It was an FPS. The only part of the game I remember is the end of the game. You're in some mech killing off hordes of some enemies, and this chick in a yellow jumpsuit is telling you to either do a good or bad ending. The only difference between the two is that she either yells at you for 30 seconds or praises you for 30 seconds. That's all I remember, sadly. It's been bugging me for months. Oh, and I remember it took place in a mars-like location. Lots of red and mountains and things.

Thinking Red Faction, not sure, still havent gotten around to playing the originals. But it was not PC only, so it's probably not it.

I also remember it being kinda fun, but definitely not a great game.
Crap, I didn't see the other thread, so I used the search function and found this. Apologies for bumping.
Can't find the other thread, and this one is now more current, so I'm going to ask here. What was the name of that game that had an FP thread a while ago, it was like a tech demo of a building destruction thing, you flew around and threw red balls at a tower, you could also place bombs. It had realistic building physics to a degree as well.

That's kinda close. But it had textures and everything.
I could do with some help.. I played an RPG on the PS1 and it was pretty crazy. It involved some crazy clockwork keys or something. I think the first boss was a cat that had a key placed into its back and it became a massive clockwork cat. I think the name began with an E, and it might have been the 2nd in the series
I'm still trying to remember the name of that weird old arcade game where it's overhead view like in Zelda, and like Zelda you travelled through connected square rooms, the main character looked kinda like kirby in the sense of a blob with hands and feet, except he was a tiger... thing with a sword. The biggest thing I recall from the game was one of the rooms was a parody of space invaders with you swatting cannons with your sword to shoot octopi crawling towards the bottom of the room
Game where there were tons of tortured people and whatnot. One guy had needles through his eyes :pwn:
http://wildebeestgames.com/detonate.htm
This, thanks.
A 2d game with decent bit graphics where the point of the game was to cut across the game platform and cut out sections of the map, thereby boxing in monsters. The game progresses and you must get more % with more devious monsters. But more a less you start out with just a ring that you can move safely on the border.
I'm not really expecting any results because as far as I can tell, this game was pretty obscure and I don't really remember that much of it. It was early 3D (late nineties, I assume). The first level was on an (alien?) beach. You were required to go up a mountain but there was some cop or lifeguard bitch that slapped you or something if you tried to pass. I don't remember anything beyond that. I also remember that if you tried to swim out some kind of shark creatures would chase you. I also seem to remember that there's a cruise ship that you could get to (maybe you had to go there later in the game?). Again, I'm not expecting anyone to know, but if anyone even has the slightest clue I'd be appreciative because this has been fucking frying my brain trying to work out what the game was for years now.
Ok guys I need your help please. In the late 1990s early 2000s I had a pc game it was a puzzle/strategy game, it had a black background and different colored geometric shapes, a sphere, pyramid, cube and hexagon each being one of those colors and the shapes sometimes look like they were made out of marble and sometimes they look like crystals or maybe glass. it had many levels and it had some really cool techno like music to it, also the shapes look 3d like but it was not 3d, the object to line up matching shapes to remove them from the puzzle trying to clear all shapes from each puzzle, sometimes you would get a gold colored bomb to explode un matching pieces and I can not remember the name for the life of me lol and its driving me nuts lol any help would be appreciative and I have googled till my fingers were about to drop off lol thanks!
