is it just me or does that british rifleman look asian
Days of squinting at the sun have left him with almond eyes.
This looks great! I can't wait to get my hands on it!
Oh man, was that on Profan's server? I still remember the mass waves and CHAAAARGE spam and most goofiest defense setups ever. Good times. :v:
F-F-FÜR-DEN-FÜR-F-FÜ-FÜ-FÜR DEN KAISER-FÜR-F-F-F-FÜRDE-FÜR DEN KAISER! Glorious fun. The stuff legends are made of.
As long as I can have rear-sights and a trench-spike, I'm good as gold.
this game is quite fun, I'm playing on the only active server. seems decent, community seems REALLY nice and REALLY tiny
I played it awhile ago, there weren't enough trench maps for my tastes. Maybe i'll get into it again soon, especially with the update.
I use to play the shit out of this mod.
LOOKS LIKE SANTA IS REAL
The WIP pictures don't look grimy enough.
How so? They're perfectly fitting. The map in the OP has one of the most realistic level of vegetation from any trench-based map I've ever seen. The only problem is that the trench structure and layout is largely inaccurate, but that's understandable for gameplay purposes (source isn't really the best for cramped areas).
Naah, I'm okay thanks, I already have DoD:S
isn't there a Warhammer 40k mod in development for red orchestra 2?
Yeah, but I think it will get either end up dead, shot down or raped by space marines.
There isn't. There was a post on a forum with a vague idea supporting the concept of a 40k mod and a single "ideas guy" but nothing that suggests actual development.
Nope.
Oh my god i'm in that video I had no idea. I'm honoured.
Naah, I'm okay thanks, I already have DoD:S
:geno:
please tell me the revolver animations are better in the new version oh god the cylinder doesn't even move when you fire. ZE HORROR. Also, it helps if you rebind the keys... for me I have mouse3 as bolt-cycle, mouse2 as ironsight, and v as melee. (from my CoD4 days) the default "q for bolt pull, mouse3 for ironsight, and mouse2 for melee" might work for those L4D people but not for me.
Oh my god i'm in that video I had no idea. I'm honoured.
Join the club. I'm TKed by some badmin while having a grenade pulled, and I get a triple-TK-nade at around 6:43.
Steve, why is your avatar so small ?
Naah, I'm okay thanks, I already have DoD:S
So you don't want a WW1 mod because you have a WW2 game? I'm confused
So you don't want a WW1 mod because you have a WW2 game? I'm confused
"omfg all the guns are the same, lyk you can have all the germans use the rifleman class, and all the allied use the sniper class, and maybe have 1-2 machineguns on teh teamz, and it's liek the same amirite"
YES! That's all I say for now.
Oh man, was that on Profan's server? I still remember the mass waves and CHAAAARGE spam and most goofiest defense setups ever. Good times. :v:
I remember that :v:
Looks awesome! This mod could really benefit from the city 17 mod's shaders.

It would be good if the team add some town and city maps, WW1 was not all trench fighting or running across no mans land. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] The British model looks incredibly well made
When I tried playing it a few months ago it was dead. There was only two servers, one was empty and the other had two German dudes playing.
Stiff, as in good stiff? But on a serious note, I have to redo the animations because we had a slight problem having it compiled.
As in it looks like a robot as opposed to a human being. His motions are way too stiff.
Since it hasn't been posted before an animation from nicolay:

If they do make new ones, hopefully they will be better.
When I tried playing it a few months ago it was dead. There's quite a lot more activity nowadays.
The old WW1 Source town maps were terrible. If they do make new ones, hopefully they will be better.
I'd love to see some proper urban battles. For example: a level that's set in Villers-Bretonneux the second battle for it, or, if there would be enough will to add more nations, a level set in one of the cities that got caught in the Bulgarian offensive towards Serbia, since the majority of the battles occurred in or near cities, giving it more potential for some unique stuff.
I just played a real organized, 18~ player match. Which is hilarious. I joined an empty server, and like in 5 minutes 17 people had came out of nowhere.
