Isn't there a guy on here called Jonotheporter or Jonoporter? I killed him on Woods just a few minutes ago and started taking damage by something that didn't make any sound what so ever. Managed to get out tho! With the dogtags he picked up and his trizip. EDIT: Googled him and the fucker has a account on a forum for hacks intended for multiplayer games, ahahahah what the hell is this dude EDIT2: big fat coincidence here my dudes

Okay, so to whoever has the name Talon here...
Got meself a marked room key today on a factory run. Still not found a factory key. Odd, as for the past two account resets I did, the factory key was much easier to find!

Dude with only his head poking out of the ground just phased through the entire train hill by custom's gas station. Immediately my whole crew started taking damage. We ran but then he phased through the gas station wall. Nice. Unfortunately it was a scav run so I didn't get his name.

Earlier I crashed right as I extracted, I thought the gear was lost until I scavved on factory where I panicked as my backpack was full of gear.
Does your scav keep the gear you had on him if you don't move it? Earlier I crashed right as I extracted, I thought the gear was lost until I scavved on factory where I panicked as my backpack was full of gear.
your gear stays in the instance it's in until the instance timer runs to 00:00 or someone nabs it and extracts. if you have insured gear, you only get it back when the timer hits 00:00 and nobody runs off with it. that's why it's good to have a buddy with you so if you die they can take your insured guns/armor and throw them under a pine tree so nobody will ever find it and you get it back after an hour. if you die as a scav or as a pmc, i would assume you have the chance to get thrown in to the same instance you were just in so there's probability you can get your gear back that way too... it seems possible, but i can't confirm it. hopefully that answers your question since it doesn't really make sense. or i'm dumb

Here's what I meant: I did a scav run and my game crashed just after extracting, with no chance to move the gear to my character, on my next run my scav spawned with all the items I had previously and I hauled ass to an exit. I wondered if the scav character keeps the gear you don't move out of their inventory for subsequent runs, but I just remembered this actually isn't the case. Getting to keep the gear is probably just in case one crashes in the loot screen or a bug.

glad i could offer amazing noob commentary as my ass got piledrived by scavs [editline]7th January 2018[/editline] good start to my day though [t]https://i.imgur.com/g4Y4XSI.jpg[/t]
[VID]https://gyazo.com/579eb408ce4f97df93cb9b7422ab4390.mp4[/VID] My initial impression was rather negative when I first heard about it, but now that I know it cost 8,500~ fucking euro's I'm kinda ok with it. Using it is odd, you'll be running 140fps~ at the same time the optic is only running at 30fps making it pretty awkward to shoot with. I don't imagine I will ever run across someone using this in a raid given the price, also, it CAN attach to the new helmet or the old NVG headlock, I don't know if anyone sells the adapter but the regular NVG adapter does not work. It would be interesting to see how practical it would be as a night vision replacement, your whole screen will be IR, but you'll also be stuck at 30fps -edit- [VID]https://gyazo.com/f3e726f039e4d5a8bf0053e815ee5ec2.mp4[/VID] Welp, start scanning this from now on, I'm going to have fun with this for all of two raids before someone figures out where I am.
snipers in the tree tops, game definitely need climbing gear for all the rocks and trees :)
snipers in the tree tops, game definitely need climbing gear for all the rocks and trees :)
It would be pretty awesome to set up a tree stand
but how do you get back DOWN?
but how do you get back DOWN?
That tree in particular you just jump back to the roof right before you hit the edge of the tree
How limited are you inventory-space-wise if you only buy the $45 pre-order tier vs any of the higher tiers? Is it really a $30+ difference?
How limited are you inventory-space-wise if you only buy the $45 pre-order tier vs any of the higher tiers? Is it really a $30+ difference?
Depends on how much gear you think you'll need and how much of a hoarder you are. This is my current stash and I just have the $45 one [t]https://i.imgur.com/JGu06mD.png[/t] The ICase has another 2 rifles and 1,800,000+ Roubels in it, It's getting a bit cramped but that's usually when I start risking weapons, because I have more than I can fit at that point.
How limited are you inventory-space-wise if you only buy the $45 pre-order tier vs any of the higher tiers? The benefits you get for paying 100 bucks more is minimal when the release build comes out. Unless tarkov is your GOTY just get the base edition.
I hope it sort of stays where it's at, honestly. DayZ went too far into the 'realism' aspect and made it a chore and unfun to play, especially with the atrocious UI. Oh you're cold, you're thirsty, you're hungry, you're tired, you're poisoned, you're infected, you're bleeding, you're in pain, you're bone is broken, you're this or that... I think Tarkov at the moment has the perfect balance of the survival management with just Hydration (And eating I suppose), Bleeding, splinting, and pain. It let's you PLAY the damn game. I hope they don't go TOO far into more depth than that. I also like that they're going to make loading rounds into a magazine have an animation and take time so it isn't instant. Diving into your inventory, dragging rounds into your half empty mag after reloading isn't fun to do, and kind of stupid and negates choosing any mag carrier or carrying more than 2 mags, But it's the meta and the way to play if you want an overall edge

It's sort of an AOE thing where if you're near the player that's using the hack you start taking damage. it takes obstacles into account so you can delay it if you're behind cover but you're still fucked if you take cover behind anything that only visually obscures you. It seems like it might stop them from actually firing because my squad was able to just run away from them and not take any shots when they were directly in front of us. Shit sucks to run in to.
To be honest, why do we even have a hydration stat when the longest raid time is what, 1 hour? I get it's accelerated time, so two hours top, someone isn't going to die of dehydration in two hours

I would like to see you intensively running around, stressing and carrying weight and not drinking a single thing for like 4 hours. While serving in army (everyone has to serve in Finland) I myself realized the importance of having water bottles with you and we were actually told many times to take care of hydration. Despite this you actually don't need to drink that much, unless you lose blood etc. I rarely need to drink in raids, or at most once if there was a lot of running and jumping during raid. Hydration is not exactly a timer, it actually depends on what you are doing and your playstyle. You can see this by comparing hydration values with your friends during raid, it will be different for each of you.
I work CIT and am sandwiched in-between two steel plates with trauma pads in a not-so-breathable vest, so I get that shit gets hot, I'm usually drenched by the time I get off work. Not saying that's any comparison to a soldiers loadout, most I carry by hand without a cart is 45lb~ so obviously there is a weight difference, but you still aren't going to DIE of dehydration in 2 hours. I can understand the need to stay hydrated but they should really consider a different approach to it, rather than it slowly damaging each limb every 3 seconds they could 'fatigue' your character so that you can't sprint and are always panting, maybe some tunnel vision too. -edit- [VID]https://gyazo.com/78e399160ae31e1aa52c7a08fd90e5b9.mp4[/VID] That helmet has been bulletproof since when? Isn't that an impact only helmet?
it's hit reg issues i've been shot before, had like the impact and everything but when i look at my health and armor nothing is damaged
it could be that, but the kolpak was changed to "level 2" which i assume is equivalent to level IIA armor. kiver helmet also got pushed up a level to "level 3"
