I fucking HATE the grabbers. Has there ever been a more annoying enemy?
Also... not a fan of certain movement options just HEMORRHAGING stamina at random. I barely slid down a hill, why am I now in the red after upgrading my stamina twice?!
The dust increases stamina consumption
wew laddy, i finally found a shock rod.
I fucking HATE the grabbers. Has there ever been a more annoying enemy?
if you hear their slithering sound throw out a crystal lure
I fucking HATE the grabbers. Has there ever been a more annoying enemy?
I feel like my name is suddenly Sideshow Bob with all these grabbers i've walked into.
So I take it the map opens up more after a point, there are a handful of weird barricades
So how exactly do items respawn? I thought it was on a timer but then I discovered that some things were respawning but other things close by that would have respawned at roughly the same time hadn't. It almost seems kinda randomized. Similarly, are side missions pre-determined or can they come up at random? I've just rescued [sp] the nurse [/sp] and so far their appearance seems to be tied to story milestones, but I'm not sure.
Why is... my farm going to take 12 years?

Also why the fuck can't I activate some of these teleporters????
I think they're story progression locked :/ almost died getting lost in the dust and finding like 3 unusable teleporters
Does the second part of the game have no usable dirty water holes around, because I've died twice to dehydration.
Can you make bottles at a crafting station? I had like 50 just from picking up random shit, and I finally ran out.
Anyone know if [sp]chapter 21 stays true to its 11 day time limit[/sp]
Can you make bottles at a crafting station? I had like 50 just from picking up random shit, and I finally ran out.
I don't know about bottles but you can learn how to craft canteens.
some big boy spoilers here: [sp]Once you rescue seth and he is like "yes we found a weapon capable of taking the lord of dust head on", I knew exactly where it was going. I audibly shouted "fuck you don't do this" when he said "sahelanthropus"[/sp] konami why would you do this This time line makes no sense,[sp]is there some wacky time travel shit going on or were they to lazy to make new assets? Like why does everything have the diamond dogs logo on it when this is technically the 70s? They should have use metal gear zeke instead of sahelanthropus because huey said it was "destroyed in the xof attack"[/sp]

There is also more time related stuff that you're on the edge of[/sp]
I gotta say amidst all of the controversy, Survive seemed like an actually interesting game, so I picked it up. The first few hours seem like a real slog, but I've been enjoying it so far. I've barely just gotten the oxygen tank and grabbed a few memory records from the dust. Being in the dust is tense as hell.
It feels like an angry japanese man is flicking his fingers by my ear saying FASTER when playing because of how quickly your meters deplete and how difficult it is to stay supplied. I almost forgot that more than 100% was the normal from the beta, I've been floating at 50% most of the time
The oxygen supply system runs way way way too fast
Yeah I think my complaints so far are really only around the survival stuff. I have plenty of food and water (only dirty for now; you mean I can make a chain link fence but not a fucking cooking pot to boil my water?), so I'm not hurting for resources, but I feel like I have to baby those systems while doing basically anything. It could stand to be a lot slower. I feel like I can hardly explore because of the O2 limitations, too. The stealth and combat are a lot of fun though and I'm gonna say I actually like the game. Dropping a fence and stabbing a pole through 5 zombies in one fell swoop is fun as hell.
The oxygen supply system runs way way way too fast
When I got lost I found out what happens if you run out of durability on the tank the hard way you start spending RIDICULOUS amounts of kuban but can still refill. Lost 15k just tryna survive [editline]23rd February 2018[/editline] I think if you had a surplus of like 500k you could easily ignore tank durability
Yeah make sure to repair your tank. I didn't notice it was getting more expensive at first.
Wait are people really having issues with the tank? It only costs a few hundred Kuban to refill 20% and never once was it an issue for me except 1 part towards the end where you have a VERY long walk in the dust and no transporter execpt the one you come from. And its probably the most dangerous area in the game on top of that, but really fun and spooky. So many transporters anyways, make sure you are doing all those transporter sidequests so you can always be safe.

I got lost and that's why it got to that point. [editline]23rd February 2018[/editline] When I couldnt refill anymore it wanted 15k
I forgot to repair my oxygen tank before I started one of those wave based defense missions, and by the end of it, I was paying about 25k kuban for a refill.
kinda surprised there isnt a way to make your tank bigger or to expand your bases wormhole's influence or smth to make the dust slowly get pushed back
You eventually get an oxygen refill station you can plant out in the dust.
You eventually get an oxygen refill station you can plant out in the dust.
I saw that, is it worth building? Like does it actually stay where you place it or is it just a one time use thing?
I think it's like the flags, where it'll stick around as long as it's outside of zombie range. Like on top of a building or something.
