join the survive discord, get a premade group, abandon as soon as you get s rank. no disconnects.
Tried the request withdrawal theory with the group, still disconnected. But I retract my statement when I don't get the loot/kuban, they just don't show up as new blips on the inventory. I'm just not given a victory lap after the win, oh well.
I finally 100%ed the Afghanistan map. What am I doing with my life? [t]https://i.imgur.com/30xl9hV.png[/t]
I see i'm not the only one missing 2 squares at the southwest blockade. Good to know they don't count for completion though.
That little oversight bugs me way more than it should, but at least I still get completion, just as you said.
Yeah, airport is great because the digger is on top of the building. The zombies have pretty shitty pathfinding and have a hard time getting up there. Usually, it's just the mortar guys you gotta watch out for.
You can also block whichever building entrance they come through with fences, place a line of MG turrets behind it (Along with two or three air cannons to blast bombers that get too close away from the fence) and you can ride out pretty much the whole thing without firing a shot. It's the perfect chokepoint. With that done, you want to have your manpower focus on protecting the auxiliary diggers instead.
Apparently if you place wooden watchtowers directly under the wormhole spawn points, they really fuck wanderers up. I saw some guy do it, and they were dying pretty much immediately or at least losing a lot of health.
iirc, thats probably the other marc laidlaw, not the half-life writer super bunnyhop talked about this in his last critical closeup, he was a translator in mgs 4 or somthing
Ah, I thought he might have been the editor. I guess I should have gone with my gut that it was someone else though.
put teleporters on mortar spawns, they are no longer an issue
Alternatively if you have one of those auto Machine Gun Turrets you can just plot it down right on the edge of the spawn and it'll murder the mortar before he hits the ground.
RNG blessed me. I was looking for Medium survival bags so I could just farm for a day and play for a week, and the one game I got into before maint got me an S rank, the medium survival bag, medium throwing bag, and my first throwing efficiency top. I am now this guy
Survive just got a new update. Apparently it's adding a new co-op mode that'll be up after maintenance finishes.

Fuck me they literally just patched infinite C4.
i wish the drill missions was as hectic as the new one
They patched the recipes for making soup with canteens. No longer can we turn one meat into two soups. A sad day in Metal Gear history.
What are the new rescue missions like? I'm at work right now, so I can't try them out.
They patched the recipes for making soup with canteens. No longer can we turn one meat into two soups. A sad day in Metal Gear history.
A sad day indeed. Now how am I supposed to enjoy watery soup? On this topic though whats up with some of these recipes for certain items like Gerbil soup? One of those recipes requires the meat, 5 onions, and 8 milk for the same sprint buff you get from a soup and only ~900 thirst and ~500 food. You get so much more just eating everything raw. Do they have some really high survival bonus to them for sending out with your exploration teams?
What's the point of antidotes? I've yet to encounter anything that inflicts non-food poisoning and none of my crew have ever had regular poisoning either.
What's the point of antidotes? I've yet to encounter anything that inflicts non-food poisoning and none of my crew have ever had regular poisoning either.
Your crew can get poisoned during exploration missions.
Alright, so I've finished MG, MG2, MGS and MGS2 over the past couple of days. Was really nice to finally experience the MSX games and replaying those two classics. Couldn't remember anything about MGS2 except it being a total mindfuck in the end. On to MGS3!

So I'm guessing no hd remaster ports on modern consoles then.
So I'm guessing no hd remaster ports on modern consoles then.
Seems like it. Irony people like me who stuck with Sony end up not being able to play the older games while Microsoft gets 'em. I think there's a few games that still got remasters on backwards compatability. I think a PC/PS4 port will happen eventually. Look at DMC, Megaman, Okami, SOTC, etc. Burnout Paradise is getting a proper re-release on the Xbox One and PS4, and that was also on Backwards Compat.
Your crew can get poisoned during exploration missions.
+ the spider enemies' attacks actually have a chance of poisoning you. only happened to me once but it took me completely off guard, killed me in like a minute. you're fucked if that happens and you get knocked out of the iDroid screen.
+ the spider enemies' attacks actually have a chance of poisoning you. only happened to me once but it took me completely off guard, killed me in like a minute. you're fucked if that happens and you get knocked out of the iDroid screen.
I've never had them actually land an attack on me so I guess that's why I've never seen it. They either take forever to attack, allowing me to kill entire swarms without any resistance, or if they do attack any lunge that seems like it should connect just slides harmlessly off.
Those spider enemies genuinely make me uncomfortable. I don't like their skinny legs and how quickly they move.
Those spider enemies genuinely make me uncomfortable. I don't like their skinny legs and how quickly they move.
[sp]That fucking part in ruins 2 man. Holy shit. I wish there were more moments like that.[/sp]
Grabbers are worse imo. With their icky tentacle thingies that are always moving and shit.
