Do you mean that music isn't going to be used ingame, or just at that section? The music i've heard so far is great.
No that piece of music itself (used to be known as the "Black Mesa Theme"), is not longer in the game as far as I know.
. They release the mod now, people whine because it's not completely finished and because there's no support afterwards (as they've stated).
Many times since 15 years I've heard about "we'll release a bug-free game" and in the end, no matter how much times the developers took, there is ALWAYS problems. The best "debug mode" is the complaints for the thousands or millions of users concerned, and then the patchs who will come after to correct.
I hope it's a quality make-over, like the old HL1 musics in right moments etc.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/r9FoB.jpg[/t] Black Mesa Goldsrc edition
In other words: Half Life
[t]http://i.imgur.com/r9FoB.jpg[/t] Black Mesa Goldsrc edition
And here is an image of the Source remake of Half-Life 2 Goldsrc edition : ----------------- Addendum : the image posted earlier "HL2 Goldsrc" is a real image of a mod out in 2008, it's called "Reissues", it's not a remake of HL2 but a mod going from the end of HL1 to the beginning of HL2.
this is sweet, from one of the devs
(I have designed and drawn up a very large array of detailed and readable whiteboards throughout Anomalous Materials, Unforseen Consequences and Questionable Ethics etc, each based on real science and research subjects such as Lorentzian wormhole theory, nuclear alchemy, rocket fuel, cryogenics, xenian physiology and quantum optronics.)

In other words: Half Life
But with more detailed mapping.
No that piece of music itself (used to be known as the "Black Mesa Theme"), is not longer in the game as far as I know.
Where have they said this? It was a nice piece of music.
Where have they said this? It was a nice peice of music.
I could listen to this all day.
this is sweet, from one of the devs

Wait a minute... Did I see what I think I did? [enters lab, looks at whiteboard] Yep, I sure did. Newton's formula for gravitational force. Having trouble remembering that one, guys? What is this, are we back in high school now? My department's working on quantum displacement. Just what the hell are you guys doing? Jerking around in lab coats from the looks of things! [leaves] I just can't believe it. Those monkeys are having trouble learning about gravity. Whereas I can recite the quantum chromodynamic gauge invariant lagrangian in my sleep! There is no justice... am I hearing things?"
2:54 They better keep the gravitational force law in, for continuity purposes.
I could listen to this all day.
Nah, this is the shit:
Nah, this is the shit:
I remember my old speakers would always break. The sound for that was just a high pitched tone that would play even if the speakers were muted.
Regarding that Tram vid. we all know its old, but this post details what has changed since then. http://forums.blackmesasource.com/showpost.php?p=438731&postcount=17292
a modeled support beam instead of using brushes? ahaha thats a waste of time and resources, no wonder they couldnt handle the complains
a modeled support beam instead of using brushes? ahaha thats a waste of time and resources, no wonder they couldnt handle the complains
More like they hit the brush limit
yeah, and in some maps they are just hitting the entity limit, that is why the Cockroaches are a particle effect not a NPC.
yeah, and in some maps they are just hitting the entity limit, that is why the Cockroaches are a particle effect not a NPC.
Too many bugs in this game!
They release media, people whine they aren't focusing on finishing the mod.
Who does this? Seriously, what kind of jerk complains when they see news of progress? I'd prefer the appearance of slow progress to the assumption of no progress.
More like they hit the brush limit
which would happen when youre filling a map to the brim with details
NEW BLACK MESA THREAD OH GOD oh its just V3.
Nah, this is the shit:
I'd like my school to have this as a fire alarm.

a modeled support beam instead of using brushes? ahaha thats a waste of time and resources, no wonder they couldnt handle the complains
yeah, and in some maps they are just hitting the entity limit, that is why the Cockroaches are a particle effect not a NPC.
Oh man, this is gonna suck. :suicide:
a modeled support beam instead of using brushes? ahaha thats a waste of time and resources, no wonder they couldnt handle the complains
You dissapoint me, sir.
Oh man, this is gonna suck. :suicide:
no, it will look impressive its just a waste of time for them to be adding that much detailing into a map to the point where they managed to hit the entity limit
butthurter please
More like they hit the brush limit
I doubt that they would hit it, with all the brushes being replaced with models.
