You never know with Ram. Maybe he's joking, or maybe they decided that a useful hive hand didn't fit with their "vision", and it now shoots Oreo cakesters.
That would make it ten times more useful.
I dont like how that sounds.
p sure that doesn't mean 10 times more powerful or whatever you're getting from it
People thought the Hivehand was useless? Really?
People thought the Hivehand was useless? Really?
I think most people didn't know about the secondary fire.
I only learned how to use the hive hand properly when I started playing Sven Coop.
I think most people didn't know about the secondary fire.
I forget, what did what again? Also I mainly used it because hey unlimited ammo.
I forget, what did what again? Also I mainly used it because hey unlimited ammo.
The secondary fire shoots faster, and the projectiles act more like bullets: they go in a straight line and attack anything in front of them, instead of seeking organic targets.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShC8zJgbTts 6:04 win. :v:
Thats the line though. I can't even tell if those are zombies. The music scares me more than the game itself though. Reminds me of Lavender town music from Pokemon Red.. What the hell... The zombie died and stayed on its knees...
The secondary fire shoots faster, and the projectiles act more like bullets: they go in a straight line and attack anything in front of them, instead of seeking organic targets.
I still found it pretty useless on hard
there are some good ways to use it but it doesn't do much damage which is annoying
"zombies" in RE4 could do a backflip while turning in the most hideous deformed human like thing ever and not even make me flinch, and the pixelated zombies in RE2 could freak the shit out of me. So... Black Mesa Source out yet?
That's because of the animation. Stiff non human movement is more scary than some dude walking around.
the only time you're going to run out of ammo in half-life 1 is pretty much on sven co-op so it's not really any good
gabe is waiting black mesa source to release half life 3
No, he isn't.
the only time you're going to run out of ammo in half-life 1 is pretty much on sven co-op so it's not really any good
Ammo count in BM has been lowered to HL2 levels.
That's a shame since I would frequently run out of ammo on Xen, I hope they will fix that problem.
Ammo count in BM has been lowered to HL2 levels.
Good, if we consider that the actual amount of ammo in HL1 wasnt modified since Day One (this explains for example why are a lot of grenades, because you can get 15, instead of 10).
Ammo count in BM has been lowered to HL2 levels.
Great, it seemed weird that your generic security guard would carry 2 clips of ammo and one in his gun on a average day at work.

Although in this case, they're just modeled after Police Officerrs, who generally have one magazine loaded and 2 spare.

If BMS gets released one day, i´ll have fun looking all the models and their maps in SDK. I only hope they dont add protections for avoid decompiling the maps, because i´m wondering how it looks great the maps without reaching the limit.

Well they said they're not going to stop people from using the stuff in Garry's Mod.
Random fact of the day.
A few months ago most of the maps were built with only HDR lightmaps and maybe cubemaps. Now all our maps have LDR and HDR lightmaps and cubemaps for both LDR and HDR. In summary: A large chunk of the 2 gigs is from adding LDR lightmaps and building cubemaps for both LDR and HDR

Great, it seemed weird that your generic security guard would carry 2 clips of ammo and one in his gun on a average day at work.
Black Mesa was a secret high-security research facility that was conducting dangerous research. They even had automated turret defenses and similar things. It's not wierd.
It'd be pretty awesome if the barneys were all unarmored badasses like Calhoun instead of cannon fodder.
Well they said they're not going to stop people from using the stuff in Garry's Mod.
It's not like they can stop people from doing it anyway.
It's not like they can stop people from doing it anyway.
They could make their own model system that has no documentation!
