I never really liked them anyways. Bring on more grimdark.
Squats had the coolest vehicles though, and they had power armor things, they were rad.
BROTHERS, Our Deep strike has gone awry
I FUCKING WANT.
Is it just me or is Space Marines multiplayer really badly balanced. Assault just kills literally everything.
Not only is it badly balanced, it's so awesomely laggy it can't actively BE balanced. Awesome.
And then it scatters back on you.
The wonders of Sly Marbo.
The real reason that squats got extinct is because they had a cat couple at the start of their fortress-monastery. or This is a powerfist, All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the object there is an image of dwarves and tyranids. the dwarf is being retconned. The tyranid is laughing. It relates to the events of hive fleet kraken destroying all squats during M3?
I don't give a fuck what the new 'nid codex says, Ghazkull killed the Squats. Period. Also, against that 'nid player in the 2000 point game, we took the leaked 6th edition rules for a test-drive once again. I won, but barely. At first it started as a ROLF-stomp, with me rolling box-cars TWICE IN A ROW with the Shokk Attack Gun, taking out his Tyrant and a butt-ton of gaunts in my first turn, and the second shot scattered but still managed to maggick away a pesky Zoanthrope. What fucked me was my own Killa Kanz, apparantley in the leaked 6th edition rules (assuming they're legit at all), vehicle explosions just deal automatic wounds within D6" (I personally think this rule is horse-shit) of the unit that blew up, and causes automatic penetrations ("critical hit"), so he killed one Kan with a Mawlock and the explosion from that one killed 20 Boyz, my Big Mek, the last of my 14 Lootas (most of which were eaten by the Mawlock), and the explosion from THAT Kan blew up the one right next to it which proceeded to kill the rest of the Boyz in that squad while only dealing 2 wounds to the Mawlock. Because the leaked rule set with evasion has been proven fake.
How large is an Emperor-class battleship again? I've looked all over and all I've received is rough estimation and speculation. They're ranging from 12km to 50km. I'm obviously hoping for the latter.
How large is an Emperor-class battleship again?
Pretty big.
Which leaked rules? Because the leaked rule set with evasion has been proven fake.
Proven fake how? He took too many monstrous creatures, which I was able to take out with ease until later in the game when the Mawlock finally showed up. My list was: HQ 1 Big Mek with KFF, 'Eavy armor, Cybork, and a Burna. 1 Big Mek with SAG, Cybork, 'Eavy armor. Elite: 14 Lootas Fast: 5x Deff Koptas with twin-linked rokkits, 1x Buzzsaw 5X Deff Koptas with twin-linked Big Shootas, Big Bommz and 1x Buzzsaw Troops: 30 Gretchin + 3 Runt-herds with Grot Prods (lol) 30 Shoota Boyz with 3 Big Shootas, and a Nob with Bosspole/Power Klaw 30 Slugga Boyz with 3 Rokkit Launchas and a Nob with Bosspole/Power Klaw 30 Slugga Boyz with 3 Big Shootas and a Nob with Bosspole/Big Choppa Heavy Support: 3 Killa Kanz with 3 Grotzookas, all with Armour Plates and Grot Riggerz (the leaked rules don't make immobilzed vehicles in squads insta-dead, just if one becomes immobilized you can roll to negate it, and if you fail they're ALL immobilized)
Proven fake how?
/tg/ opened up the PDF and found a tag in the internal descriptions which revealed that the PDF was published with trial software. Also some sentences don't make sense unless they're in German. It's a German fan rule set.

Some of the "new rules" were awesome but others were hella gay (like new vehicle explosions and close-combat weapons being AP6). Though it may be possible that the rules that were leaked were originally leaked in German, then translated/published on someone's trial PDF editor.
Space dwarves are bad but space elves are fine?
Eldar are different enough from Elves. Squats on the other hand were essentially dwarves in SPAAAAACE.
Would you listen to that. Nice remix.
Eldar are different enough from Elves. Squats on the other hand were essentially dwarves in SPAAAAACE.
And Orks are Orcs in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE. Just with guns.
Eldar are different enough from Elves. Squats on the other hand were essentially dwarves in SPAAAAACE.
How do you figure that? They still seem pretty elven to me even after 3rd edition.
And Orks are Orcs in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE. Just with guns.
But Orks are always awesome, no matter what setting you put them in. [editline]13th February 2012[/editline]
Why would they be leaked in german?
Because Germany is a big country with a lot of players and all of the GW rules have been translated to german?
But Orks are always awesome, no matter what setting you put them in.
And Dwarfs are always awesome. I don't see your point.
Why would they be leaked in german?
Why not?
I am reading Lexicanum and stumble upon this.
A STC for a combat knife discovered by two scouts. They were hailed as heroes for this discovery, and recieved a planet each. The knife is currently used by 17 chapters of the Adeptus Astartes.
Such is life in Imperium.
And Dwarfs are always awesome. I don't see your point.
Now FP needs to make up ways for Dwarfs to be more grimdark. Maybe they could have caught some kind of genetic disease that makes their lives shorter, and to avoid this they would try to develop new tech to help them survive, forcing the Imperium to declare them heretics? Horribly bad fan fic in the works :V
I am reading Lexicanum and stumble upon this. Such is life in Imperium.
As far as I know, the Astartes combat knife (which is the STC one) is about as good in cutting power as a power sword, without being a power weapon or requiring battery. So yeah, kind of important find, in my opinion. And it's not like Imperium wouldn't have more planets than they'd ever need.
It's not as good as a power sword, but it's sharper and longer lasting than a normal, 'Umie Sword.

So is the timeline still going with the Golden throne about to bust thing or are they just going to keep it as a never ending thing
I still wish we had space dawrves. I mean a reclusive race of short technologically advanced warlords. Hundred years long civil wars insides asteroid cities. An entire planet going dead because they brewed a drink so amazing that people literally drank themselves to death on it. Cool power armour that makes people ten times bigger than they actually are? Space dwarves could easily fit into the grimdark universe. You just have to set them up correctly. [editline]13th February 2012[/editline]
So is the timeline still going with the Golden throne about to bust thing or are they just going to keep it as a never ending thing
End the time-line on their biggest cash cow?
BROTHERS, Our Deep strike has gone awry
Who ever made this should make Bloodletters and make them summonable. And also make a Force staff.
