Do the ork choppaz missiles use a blast marker or is it one person?
Do the ork choppaz missiles use a blast marker or is it one person?
Missiles? do you mean Rokkit Launchas? they aren't blast weapons on tabletop.

Anyone got those two pictures showing examples of dozens of different regiments? I think it was official, i can't find it anymore.
Just read "Helsreach". Absolutely loved it, great book.

They look just like British army in the second half of XIX century.

Most of the Imperial Guard regiments, especially the earlier ones, are based off historical armies. The Big Toof River Massacre is basically Rorke's Drift, iirc.
Praetorian Guard. To be honest I didn't expect such thing in W40K universe. They look just like British army in the second half of XIX century.
I miss them. The Praetorian's were half the reason I went Guard when I first started, but I was crushed when I found out they weren't produced anymore. I wish Games Workshop, or anyone really, would produced more random Guard regiments. I know Forge World does that, but those are hella expensive. The Praetorian's were so amazing.

Trying an LR Crusader this week instead. Free S8 AP1 24'' Multi Melta. Mmmm.
Meet Rick, the Hardass Stormtrooper with a broken gun.
I want the Harakoni Warhawks to replace the cadians as the "standard model".
I just want Games Workshop produced all their models in plastic, not metal. A little difficult to mix parts from a Valhallan and a Cadian regiment.

Although i have parts on arriving soon that I'm going to do some cool conversions with, one is going to be a mix of plastic, finecost and metal. I'm going to paint him with me new airbrush. (after some practice on some normal marines.)

Anyone got any ideas on what picture i could use for the TableTop banner? I want some sort of banner for each section. Does anyone think this one looks a bit low quality? [t]http://i.imgur.com/kUoL9.png[/t]
We need bushmen of Serica miniatures, ANZAC guardsmen, slouch hats and all.
Those Death Korps of Krieg guys look pretty cool. They remind me of WW1 German soldiers.
lots of stuff back then encourages creativity. I hope one day they'll release plastic Steel Legion and remodel Catachans (assuming those are the most popular armies besides Forge World). I heartily agree. I have been collecting IG for a few years now, and my force is a mix of Catachan and Cadian plastic bits. I think we will at least have to wait for the next IG codex for a possible new plastic range to be released, so my guess would be thre years at least from now.
Is Cadia (guessing that is the name of the Cadians' origin planet) a large planet or something? There is a lot of regiments relating to them in DoW army painter
Cadia has one of the highest Military tithes in the whole Imperium, it's all that stands between the Eye of Terror and Realspace. It is, if you will, an Imperial Cork in the Warp-space Plug. Every person on the planet undergoes military training.
In regards to the Steel Legion and DKoK, I like to blame them for my gasmask/trenchcoat hard on.
Well the thing is Steel Legion are equally as famous as the Cadians and Catachans, they were the first thing people usually thought of when looking at Guard vs Orks. The Armageddon campaign was huge and is a major pin point in fluff with the on going stalemate in the sector. Thats why I figured its only seem right to have them as a box set. I don't think it would be that much trouble, a infantry box of steel legion with a command box and heavy weapon boxes with some upgrade bits for tanks. Yes man, Steel Legion is also one of the most bad-ass regiments of the Imperial Guard.
I prefer Valhallans, myself.
DKoK, Valhallans and Steel Legion are tops for me but i like the Last Chancers (thirteenth penal legion) and the Redemption Corps as well. (Both of those being from the books)
