Youtube's suggestions for 'fallout 4 mods' is even worse, it's pretty much all porn, there's hardly anything that hasn't got TITTY TITTIES BIG BOOBIES BOOB TITS' plastered all over it. [t]https://i.gyazo.com/99856b337e5a33d6f8d69298c6f52f3b.png[/t] I mean fuck, I'm a raging horndog as much as the next guy. But the idea of injecting porn into everything eludes me, I'd get very exhausted very quickly if i had to be in a perpetual state of arousal like that.
Imho MxR's channel can die. I really don't like the idea of adding soft porn to everything you do and I understand the reasoning behind it. Despite the reasoning there's no justification to peddling it to 10-14 year olds. Brodual save us.
Brodual, Gopher and AlChestBreach are where I go for mod stuff since they tend to cover slightly different things and because their voices aren't excruciating to listen to and they haven't resorted to covering "adult" mods unlike pretty much everybody else. Fill the gap with some smaller guys like this guy here that I subbed for weapon mod reviews because he shows them at length and points out clipping and such. [editline]boop[/editline] Plus, with brodual you can set the speed to 0.5 and pretend like drunk russell brand is telling you about skyrim mods
I do have to say, it's neat to watch NPCs in Fallout 4 demonstrate their pathfinding correctly. Obviously we all have experiences of settlers in settlements walking against walls and being unable to come down from roofs, but given that you provide enough space and stick with vanilla and properly navmeshed modded assets, you can place an obstacle in the path of a settler, watch them stop, think about it, and then move around it to continue their original path in real time. If something isn't set up right, they attempt to navigate it, then after a certain number of tries, they teleport so that you don't have all 22 of the settlers still standing dumbfounded in the center of the area after you've been building for an hour of real world time. it's pretty good integration of smart pathfinding and base building. There aren't too many games that have both an open world with NPCs that walk around in planned schedules and a base building system that can be used at the same time in the same place.
Speaking of Pathfinding, I wonder why developers don't try to hide some of the inherent hiccups of that tech by playing extra animations while the NPCs are looking for a way to get to their target ? Like have them look around or look confused or something if they're stuck on their path. Would look more natural than a character literally walking in circles or constantly bobbing back and forth.

If you place something down with a noticeable gap, but one you can still walk across, they'll walk over it like it's nothing.

I'm all for showing me the adult stuff but a lot of these guys aren't funny and saying slooty is dumb
Wow! A companion mode.. how fun. considering how useless they are. Thanks you for your works anyway, i'm sure it'll be one of the top mods in the nexus. It's still good to have some companion mods to choose considering most of the base game companion suck :v:
Dude, come on. The game has some serious flaws but not every post has to be negative to the point where you are literally going out of your way to make bashing it relevant. If you have an opinion just post it, don't try to tie it in to some dude's work.
Small nitpick but not as bad is I also notice some of these showcasers talk for full minutes about grass retextures and other such simple/small 10 second mods, I find myself skipping through these vids a lot I always appreciate when they put the time stamps for each mod in description next to name and link

It's one of several ways to start to clue you in on who's passionate about modding communities and who's capitalizing on thumbnails and clickbait.
Interesting looking quest mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16423/? Has voiced companions and new dungeons.
Yeah I saw this earlier, I was interested until I looked at the screenshots Any quest mod that says it requires CBBE should raise a red flag
Yeah, saw that in the description. Wondered why that would be there until I saw almost every woman using CBBE in the pics.

The ridiculous body mods, equally terrible custom armor mods, the bikinis everywhere, awkward imported hair, the mishmash of assets, jarring music, lightsabers, the stupid dancing... It really summarizes the worst parts of the Nexus, crowding out the few cool things they've managed to do.

I'm so sick of every mod video and screenshot having ridiculous titties and nude mods and shit. "Hey look at this new gun mod!" *screenshots for mod have massive tit armor completely unrelated* *reviewers screenshot is a bunch of moaning characters* I want to make a review series that's different just to spite them but I know that shit will never be popular.
Actually, to expand a little on the topic. Is it kinda inconsistent to everyone else that even Vanilla fallout has vaguely attractive people walking around everywhere? Like you'd think that people would be rather extensively damaged by several generations of living in a radiated environment. You'd expect people to have visible tumors on their skin like in mad-max. I get that it'd be a completely different game if you capitalised on that though. But possibly more interesting, as fallout 4's world is weirdly devoid of consequence as it is.

I don't like follower mods and I can pretty much guarantee I won't be using Ellen, but I can at least appreciate the effort being put into it.
One of those silly Japanese went and made a version of Gage's armor that's stripped to just the tanktop and pants to be used as underarmor a couple days ago, apparently. Didn't put it on Nexus so only that one Japanese mod blog has a link. [t]http://i.imgur.com/sc22R1r.jpg[/t] [editline]boop[/editline] I guess femshepping kinda did the same a while ago too, but that one's packaged with a retexture and changes Gage's hair so eh.

A lot of times its both misleading and usual stolen art. I just don't click on anything that does that.

Having pretty characters in a post apocalyptic setting is alright so long as they look vaguely marred by their surroundings. Maybe passing through a settlement and noticing a girl with really striking eyes just visible under all the grime and lank hair, Or bumping into a classically handsome paladin with one half of his smile turned into a gruesome snarl by a nasty scar. I feel like walking into a bar like the one in megaton or goodsprings should be like walking into a star wars pub scene. Fallout 4 is actually way better than 3 and nv for this because of all the scars blemishes and dirt available in character creation, but I feel it could go a little further you know?.
It could go a little further by not making characters look like plastic dolls.

Gage's default armor looks like he's wearing a fucking forklift.

[t]http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/otyahanabi-steambowy/imgs/1/1/1106b9b5.jpg[/t] Can anyone tell me where I can get the mask mod in this picture? *Edit* Found it but it's in some japanese dude's dropbox only and the way to get it ingame is using the console only. Sad, I would have looked so forward to that.

Doesn't one of Dogtooth/Unoctium's mods also contain a loading screen that's a teaser for the Chinese Stealth Suit mod? I'm sure I remember people talking about it here at some point.
