I loved this game so much and I was super rich... I just wanted to see how many other people on facepunch use to play it. Also I wonder why they shut it down and made a new dumb game CC Metro... I want coke music back. Anyway I just wanted to ponder in past memories of this game.
Wasnt Coke Music like Habbo Hotel? [editline]08:01PM[/editline] i think i played it
it was like habbo hotel, but you made music to make money instead of buying money with real money.
Now I remember. That was the shit back in the day.
I made baby makin' music in that shit.
Oh man, I loved that game so much. I made some pretty cool musics. [editline]01:15AM[/editline]
Wasnt Coke Music like Habbo Hotel?
It was essentially the same thing but with better graphics and free. It was made by the same people as well.
There's a private server released, just throwing that out there....
WHAT?! dude, link to that? or is that against the rules? if its against the rules, don't do it.
Private servers aren't against the rules, I've been looking for a private server for a while but all I can find are dead projects. Link?
The original was good then they decided to move shit to there.com and now there is closed. Im sad now :emo:

Oh my gosh! I remember this. I loved this shit.

Or just make our own so we don't get sued?
I remember i made a song about sex it went all like. "Higher!! "Can you feel it" "Higher!!" only quite a few got the joke others had no clue.

I loved this place, I had an awesome set of rooms all set up, would be sweet to have them again, and it seems that we have some people who loved it, maybe enough to help? EDIT: turns out the original post is here and guess what: it's fake. they used a modified verson of "Theo Avatar" a customizable chat room. the actual objects themselves and everything kind of look legit though, but who knows...

coke music was the shit
OH SNAP GUYS: okay, so the reason why there aren't any coke studios retros (private servers) is because selfish people wouldn't give up the "CCTs" ( the files for the different places and objects, ect). Turns out: all the CCTs and other things we need are all in the pack listed above, but we don't need the Theo Avatar engine to do all that crap (as from what i've been reading) because some other people made launchers and other things like that, they just couldn't get the actual Coke studios data so nothing happened. I'll have to look and see if these CCTs work with what i've found, and maybe, just maybe we could get our own server up and running :) I'll upload the files somewhere in a bit, depending on a few things EDIT 1: looks like the theo version has the actual data stuff, while the other thing i've found has the actual client. Well, something like that, maybe a mix of the 2. EDIT 2: Confirmed. everything seems to be here. this dude dumped EVERYTHING from 2 months before it closed. Maybe the Theo Avatar engine could suit our needs, if all else fails. it's the not-so-good electro server i'm not crazy about at all EDIT 3: The Complete Content is real on the Theo Avatar fake, but the rest is just that. just a ghetto shoddy hacked together flash file with a "fake" client. totally bogus.
Whoa. I remember this shit. I was soo rich. I collected soooo many coke caps for this game. I don't remember what kept me playing though.
I once also got a headjob from some random on the game at the Sydney lounge.
i remember having cybersex with hot cokemusic girls when i was 11
i remember having cybersex with hot cokemusic girls when i was 11
2 months is a long time ago right?
Me too mang :c00l: [editline]03:59PM[/editline] @Czech
Oh I remember this game!
This game was the shit. I remember being so rich in Coke Music, I had a pinball machine ^^. EDIT: I just did some digging around and found a rather interesting thing on mycoke.com.... http://www.mycoke.com/htmls/Downloads/CCMetroSurvey This is basically a page saying they closed the There.com variety, but the interesting thing is in the survey on the page https://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/76b8g438a6 And there is one question...
1) Please select one of the following responses regarding Coca-Cola's participation in virtual worlds: Coca-Cola should have a unique virtual world (like the old Coke Studios) Participate in part of a larger virtual world that already exists No virtual presence at all
----- So, Facepunchers and old coke music players, I suggest we all go fill out the survey and say we want the old virtual world back (The OLD coke music)
OH SNAP GUYS: Maybe the Theo Avatar engine could suit our needs
You would have to be stupid to spend $800 for a shit iso engine. If I can find the CCT's i'll use them as placeholders for my iso game.
You would have to be stupid to spend $800 for a shit iso engine. If I can find the CCT's i'll use them as placeholders for my iso game.
CCTs are not the issue (as i previously thought) the .dcr files are (the actual "physical" content, ccts are lists and info for/about the content). very few people have them, and i am currently in the process of tracking them down, which has proven more difficult than I thought. I'll release a content pack once i do (hopefully), which will have all the dcrs, the ccts, and a basic loader for everyone to start messing around with...
Get on this.
