Where How
The internet. It's a bulk bag meant for old fashioned candy vending machines. Example: http://www.candymachines.com/Skittles-Candy-3lbs-P217.aspx Just google skittles bulk or the equivalent in your language. I discovered that Jameson Whiskey is actually really good and the commercials aren't TOTAL bullshit
Decided to make a test batch out of the four flavors there were most of and 1 Liter of vodka I had laying around: Also prepared the rest of the Skittles for when I actually get my arse in gear and pick up some more Vodka. Had to get creative since I had too many of Lemon flavored ones but a little too less of Lime flavored, so I dumped a small amount of Lemon flavored ones in the Lime bottle. I'm also kinda disappointed by the lack of Strawberry flavored ones and by the mass abundance of the Blackcurrant flavor. Oh well, that wont matter if it tastes good enough.
I've never tried it 'properly' with sugar but I've done shots of the stuff before, although I doubt it was in the realm of the 70%, probably closer to 40/50%. It was nice but just tasted of aniseed.
Yeah what generally happens is a friend brings back a "case" from Spain or somewhere in eastern Europe which is around 5 small bottles around 500 or 600ml sized, they are of different colouring and percentage (The last being green it's natural colour, and around 70%). Very nasty stuff, but I've never gotten black outs or incredibly drunk off them, as you generally get sick after a while.
yeah, me being one of them. I'm an asshole when drunk.
Don't give up so easily! Everybody does stupid shit when they drink if they're relatively young, you're still finding your limits, don't turn into one of these "Oh I don't drink, guys" people if you're still young or you'll never enjoy the pleasure of having a well-earned pint after work / getting almost irreparable after exams. P.S Is really no one in this thread clued up about port? If not you should try it, it is Christmas after all.
So i can drink jagermeister like its nobodys business but the second someone hands me a beer I just cant drink it.
Tonights drink. Figured I'd get something nice. It's a shame I can't enjoy it as much as I could, I'm all stuffed up.

Blue WKD and port though tastes amazing and is, as my barber described it, "Refreshingly Nailing". Just remembered that I've got a 12 year old bottle of port lying around my house somewhere... might have to break that one open for christmas.
I used to work at Tesco about 4 years ago and I judged everybody who bought Tesco Value Larger. I know some people are on a budget but seriously WHY buy that shit?! On an unrelated note, I'll be in Hong Kong airport in 24 hours, They have Absolut Tropical and Mango flavours I can't find anywhere else, I know what I'm treating myself to! also 'treating' myself to copious amounts of vodka on the plane.
I had it once and it was terrible. Literally tasted like I pissed in a can re-sealed it, cooled it and drank it. And it was from my friends house fucking piss-water. Also I think this is like a 30% abv beer:

It's interesting. It's basically a distilled stout, so amplified a million times Very unique taste, and such a sticky, sweet finish. It lingers for a while in your mouth. So I just did a brewery visit to The Kernel... £30 later That growler is full of breakfast stout. I am a happy man ;)

And I just checked up on Limoncello, gotta try and make some of that myself when I have more spare time. That and learn how to make a great strawberry liqueur, since I know where to get fresh and good quality strawberries for cheap in the summer.
imo beers with over 6% alcohol is shit, the more alcohol the more bitter taste

then i had a couple of sips of this one as well which was bizarre but interesting then i had some of this which i liked
imo beers with over 6% alcohol is shit, the more alcohol the more bitter taste
Not really. Try some Belgian beers, especially the darker ones.
Not really. Try some Belgian beers, especially the darker ones.
Duvel for example, a fine beer.
Nice haul Fragmatic. I just picked up a lovely bottle of absolut 100 proof :)
You know I never thought there was an incredibly deep side to beer. Oh well. Blame the media and general perception for making it look like pisswater.
You know I never thought there was an incredibly deep side to beer. Oh well. Blame the media and general perception for making it look like pisswater.
It's the same with some genre's of music, with shitty artists who crank out generic songs like it's factory work. While there's a small group of dedicated people who tries their best at making great songs. Same can easily be said about beer.
Any Brewdog shareholders in this here thread? I just got my card confirmation in the mail earlier this week [editline]22nd December 2011[/editline]
imo beers with over 6% alcohol is shit, the more alcohol the more bitter taste
No, bitterness is more to do with hopping. Besides, beer only starts to get interesting above 5% anyway [editline]22nd December 2011[/editline]
So I just did a brewery visit to The Kernel... £30 later That growler is full of breakfast stout. All I want for Christmas is to be 21
Any Brewdog shareholders in this here thread? I just got my card confirmation in the mail earlier this week
Aye. Only the basic super cheap option. The only reason I invested was because I had some premium bonds money floating around. I really don't like the way they run themselves as a business, a total shambles.
No, bitterness is more to do with hopping. Besides, beer only starts to get interesting above 5% anyway
That's debateable, try these on for size - Redemption Brewing Trinity (3.0%ABV, from Tottenham of all places) Oakham Ales Citra (4.2%ABV, Peterborough) Both examples of exceptionally hoppy beers at low ABV's. Trinity is rediculously drinkable.
I've only tried Kernel's IPA. How much was the haul? And where is the brewery?
Which IPA? They have a TON with different hops. Where did you have it? That lot cost me £30, the growler fill cost around £20. Well worth it, I'll gladly pay for good beer. The brewery is located just off druid street (official address is 98 druid street, visitors address is 1 ropewalk, which is off millstream road. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from London Bridge station.

I'm a big fan of dark rum, kraken being one of my favourites. I ocassionally brew my own beer/cider/ginger beer when I have the time.
Do you have to shot it or just drink it extremely slowly?
You could shoot it, but it'd be a waste of a unique beer. I took it slow.
Picked up a lil bottle of this shit earlier. I have been wanting to try absinthe and finally picked some up. Tastes like liquorish

Would anyone be so kind as to point out some strong cinnamon liquor (liquers are fine too) for me to indulge in.
