heck yes now all we need are jurassic park movies and were good
Indiana Jones and Hook are the next Spielberg films I want the Blu-Ray goodness on.
Oh god Indiana Jones will be amazing.
Amazon has Back to the Future Trilogy for $14.99 with free shipping.
I am jealous of you people and your cheap $15 blu ray discs. Those things costs around $30-$70 here.
I just paid $70 (£38 in Sterling) for an Import.
Amazon has Back to the Future Trilogy for $14.99 with free shipping.
Says $25 for me, guess I missed that sale damn
Man, BDs are still too expensive for me. I'm so tempted to get the LotR extended and Star Wars packs, but they're both $80+ on Amazon.
You can't call BDs expensive based on two large special edition packs consisting of multiple movies. Most movies I but are £15 which is pretty damn cheap. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] LotR extended is £50 here, however. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] didn't stop me from buying the fuck out of it
80 bucks for the star wars saga is a good deal.

I JUST WANT THE DAMN BLURAY
why would anyone want the blu-ray and the dvd AND the digital copy the blu-ray is already a digital copy and better than a dvd ffs
why would anyone want the blu-ray and the dvd AND the digital copy the blu-ray is already a digital copy and better than a dvd ffs
well to be fair i like the digital copy because i can then later put it on my ipod or my samsung tablet but i hate the dvd copy bunch of shit.
Just get a converter and compress the fuck out of it.
Just get a converter and compress the fuck out of it.
how do you do that?

I JUST WANT THE DAMN BLURAY
another disc costs them almost nothing to produce but the extra copies (of the same film) make the customer think it's worth more than it actually is, which means more money
another disc costs them almost nothing to produce but the extra copies (of the same film) make the customer think it's worth more than it actually is, which means more money
Which is why it pisses me off
how do you do that?
Handbrake can convert from / to most formats, but not bluray. Use google.
why would anyone want the blu-ray and the dvd AND the digital copy the blu-ray is already a digital copy and better than a dvd ffs
Depending on the movie, I'll get that copy because we don't even have an HDTV in the main room of the house, so stuff like Toy Story 3 can only be done on a DVD. It's nice to have the convenience of a BD in my room and a DVD for my niece in the other room. Also, just bought the Band of Brothers BD set for my dad for Father's Day. Was $25 after a gift card.
how do you do that?
google xilisoft
Handbrake can convert from / to most formats, but not bluray. Use google.
Handbrake can convert from .m2ts files I'm pretty sure Use the nightlies, maybe the stable release can't I don't know

I have a couple that aren't on blu-ray.com's list!!! How is this possible!? [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] lol check this review of Black Swan from blu-ray.com This film disgusted me not only for the subject matter but even more for what it tells us about modern society. That people want to watch such pornographic trash is deeply disappointing. Almost every human value in this film is dredged from the bottom of the pit. Directors make such stuff because it sells but I would never want my children to ever see such perverted junk. There are just so many great films being made, it is deeply worrying anyone would gain pleasure from such a film that panders to the perverted and mentally disjointed. Looks like someone doesn't know how movies work. [editline]19th June 2011[/editline] Also here's my collection http://www.blu-ray.com/community/collection.php?member=PubliusD&categoryid=7
why would anyone want the blu-ray and the dvd AND the digital copy the blu-ray is already a digital copy and better than a dvd ffs
I only have one blu-ray player in my house and it's in my room where my family members rarely go into to watch a blu-ray movie. The DVD is a nice extra bonus since I could just share it with everyone else who owns a DVD player. The digital copy allows me to watch the movie on my iPod Touch while I'm on the crapper or in transportation.

black swan was good but it felt like it was missing something, the movie never really came full circle for me
It was a good movie, but I just didn't enjoy it very much.
Well I thought it was good and I enjoyed it. Guess it's a complicated film.
