not grey today
It's super sunny today, I didn't even know this weather existed.
It's super sunny today, I didn't even know this weather existed.
Yeah sunny here too. Decieving though cause it's still penis shrinking cold here. :v:
I can't see a single cloud. How odd.
I'm only here for the University, which is fairly decent. It's a shame the only nightclub is The Forum. While it's not bad it's just "ugh" We can't even pub crawl! Slam Dunk is apparently crap and the Galleria doesn't have any decent stores in it :v:
nah it's got nando's but it's permanently rammed. Odeon's alright but expensive. I went to that uni for an induction, de Havilland campus. That shit's fancy.
Pretty sunny in Liverpool, I even sat in the beer garden at Liverpool University.
Its very sunny here, no clouds. Peterborough
Norwich, sunny as fuck, still cold as shit. 1st wasp of the year has been sighted and murdered.
So guys, help me out here. I applied for a job 2 weeks ago that had been going since October.... I didnt realise it had been going since october until i looked at the site again last week, so i rang them up to see if it was still available, and it is which is good news. When i phoned up i said that i sent them my CV and they told me that the person i sent it to was out and that they will ask him to look at my CV when he gets back, which i was happy to hear, and they took my phone number down and everything. Its been another week now since i've heard anything. I checked their website and the vacancy is still there. Should i ring them again just to say that i am still interested in the job? By the looks of things they are not using job sites to promote their vacancy so the only way people would see it would be if they went on their website. So yeah... Should i ring them up again? or should i leave it until later? I don't want to come off as annoying. TDLR structure: Week 1: Email Application Week 2: Phoned up to hear they recieved the application and job is still going. Week 3: NOW- shall i ring them up?
Can't hurt, they won't disregard your skills and not give it to you just because of how you contact them about it.
Yeah i've decided to ring them on Thursday. Because then i have Friday off so if they want me to see them i can sound keen and say i'm free tomorrow if they are ok with that.

Hey britbongs I'm getting stationed over in your country for a few years, one of the biggest things I can't figure out is how I'm going to have a phone. I understand pay-as-you-go is much more common and I'd like to go that route, any of you have anything to say on the matter? Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to have a small data plan as well as be able to go other places in Europe; are there plans like that?
Three mobile have unlimited data plans and no roaming charges for a lot of Europe. If you're going travelling you're best off getting a pay as you go sim in the country you're at and loading €10 onto it something.
what's a good place in london for a welsh bloke to settle down, without getting mugged by chavs or the living costs i might end up studying compsci there because of the industry connections and internship opportunities (there's fuck all in wales or even some parts of england) help me lads

Thanks! That's a bit of a load off my shoulders, as simple as it was.
use three's pay as u go £15/mo plan. unlimited data 300 mins and like 2000 texts (who texts anymore) they don't give a fuck about tethering when they say they do lmao
without getting mugged by chavs or the living costs
Gonna have to pick one or the other there mate [editline]17th February 2015[/editline] or probably both. really it depends how close you wanna be

It's a lot easier to just text someone, than it is to find out what messaging apps they use and then have about 6 different messaging apps installed, for the one or two people per app.
Three's great because they don't care about tethering. It's great not having to worry about mobile data or tethering.
