hahaha i was thinking about it than I noticed they're $55 so fuck that I'm probably going to get 73mm CS raceforms in the mythical 80a blue thane.
These are raceforms. You still want them?
I'm trying to find a board that is basically a hybrid. I can do most of the longboarding things such as carving, mild downhill, sliding, all while being able to ollie and possibly do flip tricks. I can't decide between the Earthwing Mini Glider http://blog.muirskate.com/2010/04/earthwing-mini-glider.html or the Bustin sojourn http://www.bustinboards.com/v/bustin_sojourn_longboard_details.asp
Finally got to board with my dad this weekend. He's catching on quickly, already tucking and going 30mph. He hurt his ankle while kicking today, so he's probably going to relax for a few days.

[editline]17th March 2012[/editline] also teslacoil who made your board?
Earthwing is fantastic, only heard good things of them, but excuse the Bustin fanboy in me for taking exception to the bad reputation bit. They make fine decks, they used to be prone to breaking, that's where the bad rep comes from. The new models are all very, very good. Stiff, so if you want flex, you might want to look elsewhere, but they're still great. Can't go wrong with either companies tbh.

It's made by TiGuy on Silverfish, he makes custom boards and is starting his own line of decks.

I'm really just wanting to try the race formula 80a. [editline]18th March 2012[/editline]
I'm trying to find a board that is basically a hybrid. I've never tried their stuff so I can't comment on the quality these days.

Now if youre looking for grippy wheels, then sure get the raceforms. But if you want to slide get the icey baluts or freerides or whatever

I'm testing the waters, and milehighskates had them and I needed some new bearings so I figured why not.
My friend wants 86a Baluts for freeride. :v:
Ah shit, I just realised I can only spend £200 ( 316.62 US$ ) cause I forgot I'm paying my parents 50% of the fee to go skiing! fuck! I was originally going to go with the premium config http://lifelonglongboards.com/store-seeker.html but i need to shave $32.38 off that setup. What do you guys think?

[editline]18th March 2012[/editline] plus you can use the coupon silverfish for 5% off. [editline]18th March 2012[/editline] $34 flashbacks, $50 Caliber Trucks, $10 Grip tape, $4 hardware, $10 speedy lunatic bearings, $5 spacers. Freeshipping too. [editline]18th March 2012[/editline] Plus with that build I just made you have enough left over to buy some bushings to experiment with.
You'll also should buy it without grip tape and get some vicious on there instead of stock grip tape.
I'm thinking my next purchases will be some 80a Centrax's, 86a In Heats, and some angled risers. I can never really make up my mind on what I want, so I'll just have to see how much I make in the next couple weeks and decide.

So far these CS 73mm 80a raceforms are really nice, a tad choppy since the mold release is taking forever to come off but although they are a tad choppy with the mold they still slide super easy for me. I was pulling 10ft+ like it was easy mode.
2 videos here, first one is of an edit my friend made from this fun hill we found. I'm the guy in the white top and black/blue helmet at like :50 , 1:20, 1:28 and 1:30. i gave in to the hype and got some otang baluts. loooove them now enjoy this. Not worth the $100, you can probably find one of similar quality on ebay for 1/4th the price. [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] http://www.churchillmfg.com/shop/ Penny killer, its wood and insanely cheap. [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] get some bennet trucks and 65mm wheels. Your money. I think. [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] Wood over plastic any day. [editline]20th March 2012[/editline] I think I'm going to start buying all my accessories from churchill, their shit is so cheap. 24-grit grip tape for 6.60 is insane. Lifelong longboards are having trouble with their shipping at the moment so i'm just sat here cupping my balls until they finally ship it. Something to do with the USPS website being fucked up... [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] Speak of the devil, they've just fixed it. Also I did my first toeside slide today!
Standup!
Rad man! Toeside standups are some of the hardest slides to learn in my opinion. Wait till you try them switch, I can't do switch toeside yet since I'm focusing more on switch heelside but when I do. holy shit do I get thrown ass over tea kettle.

looks like a compound fracture at the joint
