that is some fucking steezy riding
^^[Loaded sucks b-b-because they suck] anyways... I had the most ridiculous bail today, luckly i wasnt going over 15 mph, but im going down and then my loyal trust worthy side kick panics seeing me come down, picks up his board and runs right into me, i get faceplanted by a Bhangra~not exactly the best board to get slapped in the face by, but anyways, i was wearing my helment so my face was fine and i landed mostly on grass so i was fine otherwise for my friend, i didnt give enough of a shit to care about his bruises. ~and just to top it all off, i had my go pro, but i didnt turn it on- oh i was so close -he's also albino a.k.a. "a blind idiot"
my sister says she will pin-stripe my board for me. I think I'm going to keep with the GoPro colors. Black/Blue/Light Blue/White Gonna eventually get an HD Hero and make a mount for the Left-Rear corner of the board.
I really need to think of my leathers color scheme for ilovedh in the summer. I almost have enough for a set.

Hey what do you guys suggest for a good downhill board? All I have right now is a shorty board.
Hey what do you guys suggest for a good downhill board? All I have right now is a shorty board.
How much do you want to spend? Symmetrical? Cut like a shark? Personally all I want right now is to try a sector9 annika from their downhill division. Looks so hot.
Just tore muscle in my left leg the other day when I got the speed wobbles going and tripped, and most likely won't be back riding for a month er so :/

I like all the tricks and stuff, but I want to focus on high speeds. That annika looks sick though!
I really need to learn how to get a good slide down. Foot breaking and going in the grass has just been terrible for me.
I really need to learn how to get a good slide down. Foot breaking and going in the grass has just been terrible for me.
I can't wait to get my slide gloves, I'm going to have to put some spacers and harder wheels on and get sliding down while the weather is okay. Foot braking has worked for me every time, but trying to foot brake going down steep hill at ~30mph is not something I'm comfortable with yet.
Just tore muscle in my left leg the other day when I got the speed wobbles going and tripped, and most likely won't be back riding for a month er so :/
man i havnt gotten speed wobbles in forever, it mostly just happens when you just start, but once you get multiple slides down and you're confident in yourself, they seem to stop happening- its the rider not the board

What's a good deck for cruising/sliding/freestyle? My Evo is great for cruising and downhill, sometime in the future I want to get a deck with some life.

@Takkun10, im going to a slide jam in march and apparently Chris O'Brian is going, maybe i will get to met him
I need harder wheels for sure. s9 78a is so grippy.
I've got Seismic Avalon 80a's and these things will NOT let go of the road. I've got my friend's Landyachtz Zombie Hawgz 88a's and my brother-in-law's old unbranded skateboard wheels, so I'm going to try those if it's nice out tomorrow since my package should arrive tomorrow afternoon.
Looking to try something new too. It's just hard to expect the grippiness and production of each wheel since each company makes em all different.
@Takkun10, im going to a slide jam in march and apparently Chris O'Brian is going, maybe i will get to met him
Real nice guy, hella good at toeside slides. Bought a set of tweakers off him at the last dc jam. Or try these out ~ http://longboardskater.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LS&Product_Code=VLW6882A&Category_Code=VLW I want to try a set really bad, heard they're the tits. I honestly really like my greaseshark hybrid so I'd reccomend looking at the greasehammer since its a tad smaller and is suppose to be the tits for freeride and downhill. If not than checkout the arbor vugenhaussen, its a omnidirectional dh freeride board. I'm into top mounts at the moment haha. If your thinking drop decks just say so. They're is just so much to choose from with $250 haha I'll give it some thought and put together a sweet ass build.

I'd look at the switchblade, I love mine to death but I haven't shown it much love lately because I ride my top mount to much. [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] Or checkout the Soda Factory lambchop, people are fucking crazy about soda factory. [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] http://www.samskates.com/longboards/clutch-lambchop-39 [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] its a beautiful deck.
That is a beaut, I'll def. consider that first choice when I have the cash.
Lambchop is my recommendation, it can go fast and get slidways with ease.
nobody seems to have answered my suggestion request
My package arrived about an hour ago. And it got really warm and sunny after it got here. The world just wants me to ride, so I will not dissapoint it.
What's the flex like on your boards? I have a custom 2 ply so of course there's some sag on a 36 inch board. I want to try a stiffer board sometime soon to see if itll make a difference in my riding. I feel like my hobbling up and down on my board slows me down a bit.

Kind of a bummer for free-riding, but for downhill I couldn't trust any deck as much as this one. [t]http://i.imgur.com/DArxp.jpg[/t] Finished assembly, time for the maiden ride. [t]http://i.imgur.com/WbpEj.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/W8WF4.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/zL8Jb.jpg[/t] Already ruined the paintjob. Oh well, nothing I can't fix. Money well spent. Now I can pump and for the first time got speed wobbles during a turn. Nothing serious, kept it in line all the way through the turn.
Dude dont worry about your paintjob aka dont paint it every time you thrash it, thats what its suppost to look like, it shows you put love into it
