Now I don't really know how many people use cubeupload here on Facepunch, but judging by our stats we've got a fair following. For those of you who DO use the site for uploading your pixel drawings, camwhore shots and various other strange things we've seen, you may be delighted to know we've just released version 3.5 of the web interface! Here's some new features: Multiple image selection, so you can add all the images you want in one go. Drag and Drop uploading, drag and drop one or many images and they’ll be ready to upload. Image previews, before you even upload you can see the images you’ve selected. New interface, cubeupload has never looked as good. Upload progress bars, something we’ve wanted for a long time, and we know you want too. You can visit the site at http://www.cubeupload.com. Also, take a look at our hilariously minimalist blog for more information, or let us know what you think below!
imgur is better. (User was banned for this post ("troll" - UberMensch))
You never actually link to the site (other than the blog, I guess). Just saying.

FYI you can still be banned for trolling. [editline]3rd May 2012[/editline]
You never actually link to the site (other than the blog, I guess). Just saying.
Oops that'll teach me, thanks!
I've used Cubeupload for a while (Along side Horobox), and it's amazing! <3
Looks nice! How about a feature to click a button to automagically copy the link you're clicking (perhaps a 'copy' button beside the link)? It's not a big deal, really, it just adds to the ease of use for some people.
cool, Ill start using this one now (Why not?)
niggaupload.com is better. (User was banned for this post ("troll" - UberMensch))
Why ban? This is fact. I use it all of the time and it's certainly good.
Why ban? This is fact. I use it all of the time and it's certainly good.
Because it's trolling. If you reply to a thread about Call of Duty saying "Battlefield is better", you're trolling. Also thanks to everyone else for the comments, do give us constructive criticism if you can think of any.
Love it, thanks.
[thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/EVM7oF.jpg[/thumb] Works great. edit. this image is fucking huge oh god. Anyway, using this instead of imgur.
I'd say a single gigantic UPLOAD/SELECT FILES button for max simplicity, but it's great
Are you guys thinking about a chrome extension? I'd be nice to have something like the imgur extension for this.

It's definitely something we want to think about though.
Been using it for about two years with ZScreen. It's great.
I'm currently using Dropbox and am quite happy with it. What're the advantages of using cubeupload? And I laughed at the OP:
[...]For those of you who DO use the site for uploading your pixel drawings, camwhore shots and various other strange things we've seen[...]
Huh I didn't know you ran Cubeupload, Ubermensch
I'm curious. What are the size limits, if there are any?
I'm curious. What are the size limits, if there are any?
5mb, the site says. [editline]3rd May 2012[/editline] I like the link shortener, and the option to either change or retain file names.
I'm currently using Dropbox and am quite happy with it. What're the advantages of using cubeupload? And I laughed at the OP:
To be honest, Dropbox is a perfect solution if that's how you like to share stuff - I use it for syncing documents and crap.
*obligatory dropbox is better post* :v: Well, I guess I'll stick to Dropbox then. Is cubeupload similar to Dropbox? Like, do uploaded pictures stay uploaded? And is it for all files?
Good job, but there are plenty of other sites that serve the exact same purpose but with more filetypes and a larger file size limit. You need to think of an extremely enticing feature if you want any hope of this gaining popularity.
Few questions I may have missed: How reliable is this for long term hotlinking? Is there any compression for images?

Hot damn, no porn? I'm better off with Dropbox. :v: And that Al Gore joke made me laugh. :v: Anyway, keep up the work with cubeupload.
Few questions I may have missed: How reliable is this for long term hotlinking? Is there any compression for images?
We're very reliable for hotlinking, the site has been going for over 6 years now. We compress jpegs at 98% quality, we've found this is the sweet spot for the quality to filesize ratio. Other formats are untouched. [editline]3rd May 2012[/editline]
Huh I didn't know you ran Cubeupload, Ubermensch
I'm part of a 3 man team, they do all the work and I take all the credit :P
I like how there's no dumb captcha (like on tinypic which I used to use) and the look of the site. I'll use this from now on. Thanks.

A few questions: What sort of traffic does CubeUpload get? Does CubeUpload make money? If so, how? If not, how do you support the site and how do you plan to keep the site should you get more popular?
