If airsoft is fake military then i don't know what military my team are trying to be, since all we ever do is charge in shouting nonsense very loudly with pistols, bayonets, and other nonsensical weapons.
Sounds like the Red Army or Libyan rebels to me.
Libyan rebels probably fit us best, but we were doing all that years before anything started happening in libya. They must've heard of our exploits and decided they are acceptable british tactics.
I was an airsoft idiot this friday. I forgot to lubricate the magazine follower when i got my GBB, so all day at CQB i was dry firing my brand new CZ75. No wonder i only got one kill with it the whole day.
Are you sure you didn't just forget to unlock the follower from the bottom of the mag?
I'm positive that the follower seized up on me. I took the magazine out of the gun when it was not shooting and the whole feeding spring and follower were stuck at the halfway point. However, as i arrived back to my house later that day, i took my gun straight to my work bench, lubed up everything that had metal to metal contact, and fixed the problem.
My MAC-11 mags had really nasty feeding issues for a while. BB's would get stuck in the chamber due to the very long double stack and the gun wouldn't fire properly. I just lubed them up again Friday, so they should once again be good to go.

blowing bbs through a straw is more effective than my fucking mp9; it doesn't break, doesn't make chainsaw sounds, and it doesnt have an cheap charging handle.
Yesterday I had the honor of battling living stereotypes, again. People who couldn't follow rules to save their lives no matter how many times they were told, people blowing full auto at a semi-only field, AEGs inside buildings that were marked for pistols-only, entire opfor team who couldn't understand the objective and just deathmatched us as far away from the objective as possible, and some 7 year old in a skull mask and neon blue beanie who got scared when DEAD people would point their guns at him and could not call his hits to save his life. I laughed to myself while I shot him but he couldn't hit me back. Rate me zing if you want me to expand this post. EDIT: As you wish. I will provide pictures for additional background. The first scenario was simple. Our event organizer provided a case of "money" which was to be secured and moved to a different location, where it would be extracted. We started at the far end side of the building, as seen here: http://www.bakholdinphotography.com/Airsoft/Urban-559-sneak-peek-low-res/18633656_v5qZJN#!i=1440017462&k=5492Dqn Behind those low bushes at the far right, there's a decaying wall that cordons off the shed roof thingy, and there were guys taking cover behind it. Our spawn was roughly in the spot where the photo was taken. We could not use AEGs in the building due to a temporary power limit increase, nor use the alternate way around due to some hazards that needed cleaning up, so I elected to accompany a new guy with no pistol to try to push around on the outside. The opfor first of all broke one of our more important rules, not firing through cracks in walls/cover that are smaller than your head - it was essentially near impossible, marching over open ground, to make headway against people with very thick cover who couldn't be hit back. Eventually we somehow managed to route them after three or four rushes, breaking to the right of the wall and moving over some unstable ground. A little kid in a neon blue beanie popped out and fired at me from around a fence just ahead. In a panic since we all noticed he didn't call his hits, I broke into a mad strafing dash, firing back and sidestepping his badly aimed stream of death. I slipped and fell, ending up on my right side and (as of yesterday) acquiring whiplash. Still, since I'm epic, I continued returning fire despite being in incredible pain, and eventually slid forward behind a tree stump and avoided being killed again (I never got the kid out even though he was standing exposed within easy reach of my return fire). My right side is now covered in bruises and the tendons in the left side of my neck are sore and painful to use, mostly thanks to that kid. We pushed up and rained hellfire and brimstone down on more people, only one of which actually ever bothered to call himself out, and only after being hit repeatedly. Once again I faced out with that same kid, no hits called. I get the lingering suspicion he might've been hitting me, but it was windy and lot of rounds were being blown off course and were almost unnoticeable - he ran just because I looked at him after he sent some rounds at me. Another guy was behind some kind of out building and couldn't hit me (but I was punishing him with lots of return fire that probably hit him). He eventually climbed on top of the thing, which had steps, and I started firing before I saw him because of his shadow. Even compensated for the wind to make absolutely sure I was doing it right. No hit called, but I (just barely) got tagged back. Eventually we pushed up and reclaimed most of the outside area, forcing the enemy to hide in the depths of the building. The only highlight of that whole round was someone attempting to surrender five of us, me pulling back behind cover and drawing my pistol, then reappearing and shooting him in the face (which he didn't call). Next round, I took up a position in that tall rectangular entrance on the right: http://www.bakholdinphotography.com/Airsoft/Urban-559-sneak-peek-low-res/18633656_v5qZJN#!i=1440017914&k=46wX6DC The objective was similar to the first game, except that the case was specifically hidden in the old offices/tiny cramped dark corridors in the depths of the building. Our team mostly had pistols, and thus we sent nearly our entire group packing into the offices to search for it. I forgot my gas at home and thus had partially filled mags, and stayed outside. Their entire force pretty much showed up on the left side of the building, the area partly visible in the above photo. I almost single handedly held off three cheaters at the base of the stairs/ramp and a fourth guy who had some crazy range, dumping nearly all my ammo on the former three troublemakers (some other people dying inside came out to respawn and took some pot shots at the opfor). They would keep peeking out on the wheelchair ramp behind the wall, or at the stairs, and despite dumping hundreds of rounds at these guys, I never got a single kill. Still, BBs hurt whether you call your hits or not, and despite their efforts I valliantly held the entrance, covered my team's flank, and only got hit once or twice (the respawn was about 30 feet away so I could keep coming right back after a 60 second respawn). I also caught some people skulking around outside in an inside-only pistols scenario, and promptly owned them both. That about sums up what I can remember.

One time I was on an airsoft field and this Farkin' Noob pulled out a nutrition bar right out on the field. He just pulled it out of his pocket and began eating. And he chewed really loud too. It really fuckin Pissed Me Off. He's lucky he was on my team or I would've fucking shot him myself with my 340FPS M4A1 w/ Silencer.

I would classify him as an idiot if the game had just started and he didn't eat his snack when and if he had enough time before the game.

One time I was on an airsoft field and pulled out a nutrition bar right out on the field. I just pulled it out of my pocket and began eating; no sweat, right? Then this guy with a terrifying hat and ugly gun just stared at me; I could have sworn he was going to shoot me due to his obvious head deficiencies and incredible jealousy over my snack. Scariest moment in airsoft ever.
