You know an album is good when no one has the same thoughts on what's the best song. Shows that it's consistent throughout.
Exactly, you're looking at the entire Megadeth disography. "What's your favourite Megadeth song?" "Dude, I don't een have a favourite album." [editline]24th January 2011[/editline] Pageking topic: our favourite Megadeth album. Inb4 all of them, it's your personal favourite at this moment. The World Needs A Hero for me ofcourse, though I do honestly think that Peace Sells is the greatest Thrash Metal album ever produced.
Shiiiiit. I wanna say Rust in Peace, since it was my first Megadeth album, but I'll go with SFSGSW. IMO, it has some of their best songs.
Mary jane.... In my Darkest Hour....... Ermmmmmm..... Liar? Ugh.... I give up.
Mary jane.... In my Darkest Hour....... Ermmmmmm..... Liar? Ugh.... I give up.
Hook in Mouth, In My Darkest Hour, Liar, Into the Lungs of Hell, Set the World Afire..... just some of my personal favorites, that all happen to be on the same album.
The System has Failed is my favourite at the moment, especially Blackmail the Universe.
The System has Failed is my favourite at the moment, especially Blackmail the Universe.
That one is very kick ass. It might be my favorite 2000's Megadeth album
That was still in the past, if he can move on about Metallica he can move on about black magic
He doesn't think that his time in Metallica nearly got someone killed, can't say the same thing about the black magic part.
uh tornado of souls
Apparently he won't play the Conjuring today because it brings back some really unpleasant memories about his brief flirtation with satanism and "black magic".
it's not just that one though, it's devil's island and black friday as well
it's not just that one though, it's devil's island and black friday as well
Isn't Devil's Island about a island which prisoners were sent to? Not satanic at all, so it's pretty pointless to not play that song.
Dave really has to just deal with it and figure out that it's just music, it's not going to harm anybody and it's unfair if all the fans miss out just because he can't let go of something
The System has Failed is my favourite at the moment, especially Blackmail the Universe.
That album really doesnt work for me, neither does the overdone production
Dave really has to just deal with it and figure out that it's just music, it's not going to harm anybody and it's unfair if all the fans miss out just because he can't let go of something
It's just one song isn't it? Anyways, it's his decision, and people should respect that. [editline]24th January 2011[/editline]
That album really doesnt work for me, neither does the overdone production
Well, like Dave said, you have to think of it more as a Dave Mustaine album rather than Megadeth.
Well maybe he was out to prove that Megadeth wasnt Dave and 3 other guys, but a fully fledged band.
Isn't Devil's Island about a island which prisoners were sent to?
Isn't Devil's Island about a island which prisoners were sent to? Not satanic at all, so it's pretty pointless to not play that song.
it's about a guy that doesn't believe in god FINDING GOD
The priest that reads the sermons, Is walking next to me, To the stake, my last request, To have her burn with me. But, so it did, the heavens opened, Rain began to fall. The final judgement came, and Was spread before you all. Final judgement. Old, weak, and feeble, But the lesson taught to me, To stay away from evil, She doesn't care for me. She haunts me in my sleep, Though I tore that page away. And, here on Devils Island, I'll always have to stay.
surprised no one else here knows this

i actually like a lot of the poland/samuelson stuff from 85 to 87, though i haven't found a lot of it
The Chrisgar lineup was the best Megadeth lineup.
The Chrisgar lineup was the best Megadeth lineup.
even though they might have been a major problem concerning heroin and shit they still kicked ass musically
I like Megadeth the way they are now, seeing that Dave is playing music with people who he love and respect makes the lineup seem much stronger than just them being good musicians.
even though they might have been a major problem concerning heroin and shit they still kicked ass musically
except when they pawned Dave's Bich
The Chrisgar lineup was the best Megadeth lineup.
couldn't agree more
Hope you people enjoyed the RiR rip.
big 4 at sonisphere is going to blow my tits off
i always misread architecture of aggression as agriculture of aggression :saddowns:
I love Dave's vocals in this performance. [editline]26th January 2011[/editline] why do people put "a *insert stupid name you came up with in 5 minutes* production" before youtube videos they had no part of in creating
