In Watchmen I was actually very disappointed that Snyder used a little bit too much gore in some of the fight scenes. Very unnecessary. Another thing, much more annoying, was the change to [sp]Rorschach's[/sp] backstory. [sp]He just kills the murderer with a cleaver instead of burning the house down and leaving a saw for the killer to cut his hand off.[/sp]

In The Godfather, I still get annoyed when I see Sonny beat up Carlo. I mean, most of the hits don't even connect and it's pretty damn obvious. Dogs get put down![/sp]

The hallucination in Tenacious D: TPoD
Haha, I never noticed this until now.
she's the worst part of the fucking movie. if you took her out of butch's story it would be a whole lot better.

well there was that much gore in the comic book right? [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] been a while since i've read it
she's the worst part of the fucking movie. if you took her out of butch's story it would be a whole lot better.
She's kind of sweet imo.
well there was that much gore in the comic book right? [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] been a while since i've read it
It was bloody at points, but definitely not as gorey as the film.
well there was that much gore in the comic book right? [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] been a while since i've read it
Not as gory For example [sp]In rorchachs memory, when he fights boys who make fun of him in the comic book he just bites one in his cheek, and in the movie he literally rips the cheek off with his teeth[/sp]

It just felt like they held on those (especially the owlship one) for a few minutes too long...
It's Zach Snyder, what were you expecting?
she's the worst part of the fucking movie. if you took her out of butch's story it would be a whole lot better.
Umm then Butch's story would be completely different, unless [sp]he left his watch behind[/sp], which is not something I think he would do.
uh she could have easily been replaced in that role with any number of things. sure you might have to change the story a little bit but for the most part replacing her wouldn't be a big deal, certain things would just go down differently and such. the fact that a character is there just to add negligence to the situation makes them annoying as shit unless they do something awesome over the course of the movie. all she does is sit on her ass and freak out. oh yeah, and she's kind of a ditz. if she did one awesome thing in the movie, just one thing she'd be okay in my book. she's a complete damsel in distress but being pregnant doesn't mean she can't for instance shoot someone in the back just before they do her fiance in. i don't think Tarantino wanted us to like her
ahh come on, why ramble on about hatred for a woman. It just says more about yourself than the character. The way she says "What happened to my Honda" is priceless. :3 [editline]17th May 2012[/editline] also the intimate moments with Bruce Willis were awesome, I don't even care.
I liked Fabienne. She was the only really innocent character in the film. She only freaked out twice: once when Butch freaked out and once when she saw Butch after he came out of the pawnshop with a broken nose and blood on his shirt. Both totally logical situations for someone who probably hasn't been around all that shit before.
Hmm, well, this is sort of a general statement, but I hate it when sequels replace actors for certain characters. Like how Iron Man 2 had Don Cheadle as Colonel Rhodes when he was played by Terrence Howard in the first one. It's still a great movie and in some ways Don Cheadle improved the character, but it's a glaring continuity error. Same thing with Mark Ruffalo replacing Edward Norton as Bruce Banner in The Avengers. Mark Ruffalo was a MUCH better Bruce Banner in every way than Norton's portrayal in the actual Incredible Hulk movie, but it's still a noticeable continuity error and it rubs me the wrong way.

Terrance Howard had much better chemistry with RDJ. Ruffalo can KINDA be excused, if you just figure that Banner has been through hell in the year or so since The Incredible Hulk.

So the replacement was kind of necessary, and really it was his loss.
