I'm kind of looking forward to this, actually. I thought it was going to be bad because of lack of Tobey Maguire but it looks kinda cool.
Because SpiderMan isn't the Hulk.
Funny you say that. There was a Spider-Hulk once.
Funny you say that. There was a Spider-Hulk once.
Yeah but that was a completely different comic series and it was Hulk versions of everything, Cap. America, Deadpool, EVERYTHING.
I was cautiously hopeful for this movie when it was first announced, as I was a fan of the first reboot when I was young. But with the cast, shots from the set and costumes, and the fact that I now see it's going to be 3-D I'm now totally aware this is going to be a terribad typical generic action superhero flick designed to rake in bucks off of kids.
I can't imagine Spider Man as not Tobey Maguire. I just can't
I can't imagine Spider Man as not Tobey Maguire. I just can't
He's too old now, I think. Looked a bit odd in the third film.
No more M.J.? Thank god.
No more M.J.? Thank god.
Kirsten Dunst too hot for you?
I have nothing against Kirsten Dunst, I think she's a great actress and I have a lot of respect for her. It's just the character of Mary Jane was just so aggravating and unnecessary imo, that I would prefer the movie to not have her.
Kirsten Dunst too hot for you?
haha fuck no she looks like a goblin, with her little pokey out snaggle teeth and squashed face the whole movie i was like NOO SPIDEY HE IS NOT THE REAL HOB GOBLIN, YOU ARE DATING THE REAL ONE
martin sheen as ben parker... woot
Hopefully if this new version goes far enough to include venom in the sequels it most likely will have, they won't royally buttfuck him like in Spider-man 3.
That, and I want Green Goblin in the original costume, although a bit less gay perhaps. They should hi-tech it up, but not overdo it like in the original film. Oh and he totally should do the Throw-Gwen-Off-The-Bridge-And-Let-Spidey-Accidentally-Snap-Her-Neck-When-Trying-To-Save-Her thing.

Anyway, you say that about a lot of female celebs. Which celebrity do you find incredibly attractive?
Needs more Flash Thompson.
Why do they pick scrawny guys for this role? It just looks fucking dumb
Because Spiderman is scrawny as fuck. Possible spoilers ahead. Spider-Man set leak teases the climatic final Spidey showdown
Marc Webb's high school-set Spider-Man reboot is currently filming, and a new set report suggests that the movie's showdown will be a lot more dramatic than the jazz-handed previous installment. Spoilers ahead... The insider report comes from Big Fan Boy:
One of the primary important crew members (who shall remain nameless) recently let it slip to one of our readers (a trusted one at that) that many of the stunt actors in the film have been spending time in heavy make-up for hours on end because of a fight scene in the film where they're turning all the S.W.A.T. team guys into reptilian creatures.
That means minions! An entire S.W.A.T. team of them! We love minions, and usually the more minions there are, the fewer major villains there are to clog up the storyline and add unnecessary extra monologues. Sure, Irrfan Khan was just recently cast as Nels Van Adder but it's sounding as though he's primarily a background baddie (and we'll see more from him in future Spider-Man films). Instead armies of Lizard-faced minions will be storming the streets of New York, and that sounds like a lot of solid, comic book fun.
http://io9.com/#!5766366/spider+man-set-leak-teases-the-climatic-final-spidey-showdown

Regardless, that sounds cool if they actually look right.
I have high hopes for this. Absolutely no idea how they plan on topping this scene though.

kirsten dunst was fucking hot in the other spiderman movies
Kirsten Dunst is an ugly whore.
Kirsten Dunst is an ugly whore.
Ha, what did she ever do to deserve that title? You wanna see an ugly whore? Heather Graham.

I hope this is a more gritty and story oriented reboot like the new batman films or Casino Royale. And after watching that fight scene, I remember how lame Tobey Maguire's voice sounded coming out of the costume.
The lizard and his army of SEWER DWELLING LIZARD MEN! My god that was a fun-ass game.
