I like the things you do, Jens.
I enjoy following your work
can you post the psychedelic poop
That photo study of the asian dude is really my favorite. You turned that photograph into a great digital painting and managed to show more character and mood than the original photograph. At least, to me. Very nice stuff.

I did a fair share of the animation (everything past 0:42 save for the one of the cat wiggling on the ground), along with some background block-ins and storyboarding. Fiskepudding stood for all the sound and music. Detlef did all the backgrounds, and some animation and storyboarding. Whereas LufOo did a lot of animation, and composited it all- camera movement, effects like glares and bloom etc, as well as some background block-ins and storyboarding. I have been wearing your Breaking Bad t-shirt for the last 4 days, I really need to change it.
youre getting very good jens i like the post-its
Good shit, Jens. Can't wait to see more. I feel like we maybe should share the animation more places
I have been wearing your Breaking Bad t-shirt for the last 4 days, I really need to change it.
Heh, glad to hear you like it :) Apropos my Breaking Bad tee, the show's writers sent me an e-mail about it, saying they found it to be awesome and wondered where they could purchase some more of them. By the time I got it up on my redbubble they had managed to buy some left-overs from TeeFury. "pretty much our entire writing/post-production team will have your shirts!" So fun :)
youre getting very good jens i like the post-its
Thanks, Barnhouse. Ye, I like the post-it painting too, as well as post-it notes in general. I've started jotting down everything I have to do or should do on them, and then I stick them to the bottom of my monitor. It works great, and tearing them in pieces afterwards is so satisfying. At the moment, I got "Get a haircut, you damned hippie" and "Draw, draw, draw!" attached to my monitor. Hopefully it will get me to draw more, because I've been terribly lazy lately. I've been reading my through Algenpleger's sketchbook and it's rather impressive to read about how much he draws and paints. Like, doing something right before having to run for the bus. I wish I was that productive.
Good shit, Jens. Can't wait to see more. I feel like we maybe should share the animation more places
Many thanks. Yeah, we should most definitely share it moreso, especially when considering all the blood and sweat it took to make. Film-competitions and the like (I reckon there shouldn't be a lot of competition in animation-genres), and maybe a thread complete with breakdowns and processes etc. I dunno.
Love your brushstrokes. :P
holy shit man, why don't you do a big project on zbrush? you're so good, it should probably look awesome!
You've got talent, and a very unique drawing style? Since your name is Jens can you draw Jens Stoltenberg with a sombrero?
Love your brushstrokes. :P
:)
holy shit man, why don't you do a big project on zbrush? you're so good, it should probably look awesome!
I have put everything 3D on hold indefinitely, as I've decided to just stick to painting and drawing for a few years. But thanks!
You've got talent, and a very unique drawing style? Since your name is Jens can you draw Jens Stoltenberg with a sombrero?
Thanks? I'm not in any position to draw celebrities doing silly things as I'm shit poor when it comes to likeness but I'll definitely put it down on my Things to draw when I get better-list, along with this idea I got about the four horsemen of the apocalypse playing polo together. ** Here's a dump of some recent stuff: Photostudy of lips. Too much light on the upper lip! Another photostudy. I couldn't bother finish this one I just find working straight from a photo so awfully tedious and boring. A lady with neither nipples nor face. Thanks, Luf
Is that girl taking her head off ?
yes lol ** The environment is (more or less) reffed from some crazy jpop music-video, whereas the bloke chillin' is drawn from head. Integrating my own stuff really makes the photostudy-process a lot more fun. Art Nouveau assignment. I made a MGS3-poster, heavily based on Eugène Grasset's work. also, i was a stupid idiot that thought it could be done in one day that's why the flowers are so terrible and the ear blows + + Quick landscape from head. A bunch of fashionable folks. Reffed from http://www.thesartorialist.com/ which then inspired me to do some designing myself. The poses were reffed, btw. The year is 2050: - "Geniusphones" will make your phone an even bigger part of your day. By hooking up with your body it warns you about low bloodsugar, monitors stress and so forth etc. Just be careful to read Apple's terms and agreements- they may or may not steal your genome. - Augmentations will let war veterans once again play catch with their kids, or just give people that extra edge they've always wanted. Runs on diesel. - Google's HUD-visor is reality. Informs you about the best jogging-routes, nearby cafés, and got an app that recognizes faces and adds mustaches to them. - Life has been found on Mars- and thus fox fur is obsolete. - Acid washed jeans make a glorious comeback.
oops i forgot about this thread. brace for a lot of images In Norway we got russefeiring to celebrate the end of high school. And in my town, wearing and painting russ-coats is tradition, so I painted George Costanza portrayed in a Art Nouvaeu-style. Done in PS, and then printed on the coat. Figure drawing ain't easy. I have the hardest time balancing what I know (stuff from anatomy books, Loomis, etc) vs what I see. I've made a habit to attend around 3-5 figure drawing workshops per week though, so I'll eventually figure (hah!) this out
