Primus is an American Rock Band composed of Singer/Bassist Les Claypool, Drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander, and Guitarist Larry LaLonde. Primus' sound is hard to classify, while normally being somewhat Funk-Metal or Alt-Metal, critics have said things such as "Thrash Fuck meets Don Knotts Jr." Their diverse sound has earned them fans in many different sub-genres of rock. Primus is known for strange lyrics and music, and Les Claypool's often amazing bass playing. Former members include Brian "Brain" Mantia and Jay Lane on drums and Todd Huth on guitar. What are you favorite songs, or albums. I think Primus is pretty comparable to Rush if you think about it. They made pretty progressive music, had one of the best bassists ever, and the drummer and guitarist for both bands are amazing.
Did you know that when Ciff Burton from Metallica died, Les Claypool went to try out to be the new bassist, but they said he was too good? Yeah he's an awesome bassist.
Yeah I heard that. Imagine if they would have let him in. *shudder*
Primus rocks :v:

I wish I had a bass. I sometimes play my guitar like a bass, but it just isn't the same...
Primus are weird man but they got some awesome video where a farmer has a fiddle off with the devil It's kickass

Despite my name, I never was a big fan of Primus. I always just thought their name was cool
Primus sucks! :D (User was banned for this post ("Don't like - Don't post" - Kazumi))
He actually likes them a lot
Primus began selling out local clubs with their out-of-control live act and irreverent approach to music (their catchphrase was "Primus sucks!").
Kazumi is dumb. I like Miscellaneous Debris [editline]04:47PM[/editline] Kazumi is dumb. I like Miscellaneous Debris
"Anybody wanna hear anything from The Brown Album?" ... "Yeah, me neither"
"Anybody wanna hear anything from The Brown Album?" ... "Yeah, me neither"
Some people can't tell if he's serious or not. I'm not quite sure either. I do like Puddin' Taine, Over the Falls, and Shake Hands With Beef though.
Primus kicks ass.
"Anybody wanna hear anything from The Brown Album?" ... "Yeah, me neither"
Haha, The Brown Album sucks. I think it's Brain's fault.

You know I've heard of this band a lot, and never checked them out. I'm liking what I'm hearin' though. (Downloaded Sailing in Cheese or w/e)
Probably the only band mutually liked by all music lovers. [editline]06:17PM[/editline]
(User was banned for this post ("Don't like - Don't post" - Kazumi))
"Primus sucks" is their slogan.
Definitely a musician's band.
Primus is just way to fucking awesome.
I play bass. Of course I love Primus.
Awesome bass at well the whole song, but especially at 1:09 and 2:45. One of my favourite songs
Primus sucks! :D (User was banned for this post ("Don't like - Don't post" - Kazumi))
This makes me laugh.
Les was guest DJ on Litium, Sirius 24 XM 54 and of course the iPhone and iPod Touch App. He talked about how on tour with Alice in Chains he came onto stage while they were playing "The Rooster" in a chicken costume and they pelted him with eggs.
