The dof on the edges and the good anatomy makes me think you did a paint-over of a photograph. Hmmm.
I knew the background was too real. :(
This is going to take me some time to finish it. But it will be worth it in the end
Sorry but I won't finish this series in the near future, but do expect the full story in my book
Why must people keep trying to use albeit in their sentences around here
Why must people keep using it improperly?
This is going to take me some time to finish it. But it will be worth it in the end
all the girls you draw seem to have very tiny hips.
all the girls you draw seem to have very tiny hips.
they don't look too feminine, they look sorta square-y and MANLY. like they're 20% MAN.
panel from the latest RA comic im making which is going up TODAY and im not even done oh god :((
Looks neat! Thin wires around the bottom/sides of the deer could use some rethinking - at the moment they don't feel sinister/horrific or very well refined. Texture/clarity of the antler-region feels like it's been plastered with JPEG artifacts several times. Coloring on the big, surrounding pillars makes them really flat. The rear-most pillars fade unconvincingly [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline]
all the girls you draw seem to have very tiny hips.
Why is it the opinion of most people here that we should be drawing the idealised human figure
if only I had time to fix stuff like that
Is that a TI-XX Calculator?
TI-84 to be exact.
Why must people keep using it improperly?
it was used correctly
Why is it the opinion of most people here that we should be drawing the idealised human figure
girls have hips. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] I can see that ADT needs to shape up his anatomy, even tho drawing girls with narrow hips is of course ok, he needs to learn proper anatomy to understand how it's really gonna look.
Point, but drawing non-idealised figures isn't something to be frowned upon [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline]
it was used correctly
Grammatically speaking there should be a comma between the 'albeit' and the sentence it refers to [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] otherwise it's too detached
anatomically incorrect is not the same as a non idealised figure
Grammatically speaking there should be a comma between the 'albeit' and the sentence it refers to
Grammatically speaking, there should be a comma be between 'speaking' and 'there.'
Grammatically speaking, there should be a comma be between 'speaking' and 'there.'
Grammatically speaking, the full stop should sit outside of the inverted commas at the end of your sentence. Should we talk about something else [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline]

its his style I guess.
No, I think maybe he just prefers a certain body shape? [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] Do you not prefer to draw boyish men?
Why not let ADT answer it himself?
I am saying the anatomy looks off, not that he shouldnt draw certain body types. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline]
Do you not prefer to draw boyish men?
are you seriously gonna bring up this again. Like everyone in the cc isnt drawing beautiful ladies all the time, but of course THAT'S ok, you guys fancy that huh.
the red one looks fine the purple one doesn't.
and heres something ive sacrificed my eyes for the past nights too bad i can't go to school now because of how late it is :|
I am saying the anatomy looks off, not that he shouldnt draw certain body types. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] are you seriously gonna bring up this again. Like everyone in the cc isnt drawing beautiful ladies all the time, but of course THAT'S ok, you guys fancy that huh.
I'm not saying it's not ok for you to draw what you draw; I like it. I'm saying he's allowed to prefer certain body types
its the anatomy part that is incorrect, not the body type.
the problem with the purple one is that the thigh looks too thick for the hip and instead of it looking liek a different body shape, it just looks weird detlef is right this time
I am talking about the purple figure and some other stuff I have seen from ADT.
Maybe if you pointed out where the anatomy was wrong (instead of just saying 'hips are too small', which given the range of body types is invalid) it would be more useful
I like to send people on their way to figure out stuff themselves.
I like to send people on their way to figure out stuff themselves.
that's less usefull then just saying what's wrong. it takes longer for them to figure it out then if you just told them, try to help instead of being cryptic
