I took it as the pier being wet and reflecting the sky.
Unless the sea was romping around during a storm or had been hit by some rain it wouldn't be wet though Or at least not wet enough to form into puddles with enough unbroken surface area to reflect that clearly Any small amounts of water would soak into the wood, given that it appears to be untreated timber
I made me some gothic lettering for a roguelike game project. It's handmade, I didn't download a font. To get the spacing I typed out "Red Dungeon" in Arial in a semi-opaque layer behind it.

Some visual styles would benefit from the top lighting style, some would benefit from the bottom
Here's a baby with an M16 happily ignoring trigger safety.
Wanted to make a more stylistic drawing. Again I tried drawing this one pretty quickly.
Any suggestions to make this look better?
woah holy shit this is almost exactly like a drawing i once thought of in my mine but the tear in the ground looks like it isnt really a tear , maybe make the overhanging rocks smaller? the grass(?) doesnt really look like grass, its too thin at too far a distance. the clours do not fit at all with the drawing, i would suggest changing their colour and shape the planet in the background's transition from light to dark would be slower and the colours less saturated (as your in this places atmostphere) i really like the water and the mound-house thingy though
I've been trying to learn Photoshop and make a sunset-ish ocean setting, but I'm having trouble with the water. Suggestions and help would be great.
Google "sunset beach" and use it as reference. Get the color to look right first, then add some shadow and lighting on the water. Then try to get some details.
Does this count as furry shit? could have made the hands a little better perhaps, but I am rather satisfied as how they are as of now.

But, I sketch in random colors constantly, so I'm not really one to talk. I think it may look better if the shoulders were a little wider. I like the legs and the head/neck. Torso seems pretty good too, it's just those really thin shoulders stick out as something peculiar.

I tried wider ones, but they didn't look good.

yeah, I really wanted to go with a reptilian appearance as much as possible without letting it be too much lizard, looking back at the picture now, I kinda of should have made the tail longer.
Here's a drunken sniper baby.
Coincidentally, I was drawing kids with guns a few days back. :v:
i hope you're not doing these from refs
Google "sunset beach" and use it as reference. Get the color to look right first, then add some shadow and lighting on the water. Then try to get some details.
aha! it still doesn't feel like what I was going for though
aha! it still doesn't feel like what I was going for though
Did I miss the memo about the sky turning purple? The whole glow is a bit odd. I'd say you should try to go for something more like this:
more like that and by ref, I mean draw and use it as ref, not photomanip lol
more like that and by ref, I mean draw and use it as ref, not photomanip lol
I can't draw with a mouse, but what I really wanted to do with this was to make a surreal almost cartoonish sunset but the main goal was to learn Photoshop
More messin' with oils And the knucker dragon I'm making in sculpture Still gotta do all the scales..

Like less of going forward and more of them spinning.
