This will be awesome
Still working on the look of the homepage, will post in a little.
Are you able to add who posted that last post, or is that not something that can be done/or no room.

Tapping and reading from a distance shouldn't be hard at all. It basically almost feels like a true app.
Hot.
And here's how it will look on your Android device. (I don't own a real device, I'm just using an emulator. I'll ask someone to do real tests later on)
It's free right? I can't even afford 69p apps anymore.
It's free right? I can't even afford 69p apps anymore.
As free as facepunch is.
As free as facepunch is.
Neato. I was kind of expecting this, but just making sure
Hey guys, if we made a little donate button to endorse us in the making of this (since we're taking a bit of our time out of our work schedule to work on this), would you buy us a beer?

Here's the last snapshot for today: [editline]21st December 2011[/editline] If anybody would like to test it, the homepage is situated here. If you can, please post a screenshot of the result of the test on your phone, your phone's screen size (possibly the DPI too), os, version. Don't worry about the fact that it shows up in normal view even on desktop browsers. It should show up as mobile if viewed on a phone. Please tell me if it doesn't.
It looks really great. I can't wait until it's finished. I'm on an iPhone 4 with a 3.5 inch screen, 640x960 resolution, 326 dpi. It's running IOS 5.0.1.
I'm still here... :v: My app got tangled up in an argument with Apple regarding use of in-app purchases. I never had time in the summer to convert it to use an external payment system since I was taking part in Google Summer of Code. garry decided to remove the API given I couldn't commit time in the near future to making these changes to the app. Also, CSS stylesheets used to do things like this are cool, but they're still going to eat bandwidth just like viewing the full site. A better approach would be to do what some folks in the Programming forum are doing and scrape the site, then provide an API that allows data-light interaction with it.
yeah your fault for trying to charge people like $5 to use a fucking app
Thanks for those screenshots, people. I'll have a good look at them later. In the mean time, have you got any generic feedback on this? Does it look good to you? How about the layout? Please let me know what you think.

Looks good, but the one thing that always pissed me off about the way FP is used by mobiles now is the fact that everything that's on the "right" side of the browser layout (games forums, hobby forums) is below the "Bottom Of The Forums" on mobiles, and I'd prefer if I didn't have to scroll twice as far as I should have to in order to get to them.

The forums are structured in a table where the right column is below the first in terms of code. I can either put them side-by-side or have them aligned vertically. Naturally, I chose to align it vertically because you can't align elements horizontally on a small screen width.
Nice work so far.
