Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. The film's plot is loosely based on Special Forces Colonel William Hillar.
This film is just one big roller coaster of action. from the moment the daughter gets kidnapped to the very end of the movie, just nonstop action and awesomeness. hell, even before the real plot starts, there's action. this is THE definitive action movie of the decade. Liam Neeson is such a badass. and... that's all I got. discuss. oh, and, I'm surprised there wasn't a thread on this earlier ( I used search, so if there is, frakkin' sue me.).
I wasn't interested in this when it came out at all, but then my brother gave me the DVD and said it was badass so I watched it and now I think it's awesome. Also your image is broken.
I wasn't interested in this when it came out at all, but then my brother gave me the DVD and said it was badass so I watched it and now I think it's awesome. Also your image is broken.
works fine for me... EDIT: fixed?
Image doesn't work for me either. Film is great action film but I wish it was a bit longer, not nearly enough of Liam Neeson killing people and been generally badass...
I was TAKEN away in its awesomeness. But seriously, it is a great movie.
Once I counted how many times he slams someone's head off of an object or wall, it was around 20 something.
it is a great movie. I loved the ending where the guy was like [sp]I would like to negoti-*BOOM HEADSHOT*[/sp]
I think the best part was when Liam's character was chasing the french dude who his daughter befriended. it looked like [sp]the dude got away, but then WHAM! he gets hit by a truck![/sp]
This movie is really good, I watched it 3 times and bought it on BD-DVD.
Fucking awesome movie.
This movie was badass. It was like Crank but with less ADHD.
This movie is incredible. When it came out, I wasn't really interested and then my friend got the Unrated version. AH-MAZING!
Most awesome movie ever.
This movie was fucking awesome. I loved the part where [sp]he shoots all the people in the apartment and then is laying down with them and pretending to be dead until more people come in[/sp]

Only in the Unrated version.
Liam Neeson makes it great.
The part when the guy comes down the stairs and he shoots him in the back of the neck is so awesome. Only in the Unrated version.
I should probably see that version, I've only seen it once in theaters.
I should probably see that version, I've only seen it once in theaters.
It honestly makes the movie so much better. The action is much less restrained and it makes Liam Neeson seem to incredibly brutal.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taken_%28film%29#Sequel
Robert Mark Kamen revealed that a sequel for the film is already in the works.
They are making a sequel. I guess how can this movie have it.
This movie is amazing because the hero isn't a moron. Doesn't drop his gun, makes a plan and sticks to it, doesn't rely on luck for his plan to work.

This film was awesome, Liam Neeson made it fantastic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taken_%28film%29#Sequel They are making a sequel. I guess how can this movie have it.
I don't see what they can do for a sequel, either. someone kidnaps the whole family? maybe HE gets kidnapped and he has to fight his way out? maybe have a completely different cast but still have the premise of someone being taken and someone else has to rescue?
Maybe no-one is taken in the next one, but it's still the same character and everything.
I've started watching this loads of times, but I've never finished watching it, I'm always interrupted. Also, my friend's dad sounds exactly like Liam Neeson.
Best film I've seen in ages!!!
One the most satisfying films I've ever seen. Great ending! Damn Albanians.
Loved this movie, it's action packed and has a pretty nice storyline.
One of the few movies I actually bought on DVD
