Boring side on picture Honda Civic EP2 It's got heated leather seats which I'm absolutely loving this time of year
Me and the girlfriend are going to look at a few of these for her this weekend. Guessing that's the 1.6? What do you think of them, how do they drive and is there anything we should be looking out for other than the usuals?

What do you think of them, how do they drive and is there anything we should be looking out for other than the usuals?
That's right, it's the 1.6 model. I think it's a nice car. Handling is pretty decent, really quiet engine at low revs and almost silent at idle, and a decent amount of power when you want it. My civic has been lowered so it's no where near as comfortable as it was, with stock suspension it's super soft and comfortable. Acceleration wise; 0-60 is about 10 seconds which isn't amazing but it's more than enough for most people and feels fairly nippy around town. Saying that it performs great on the motorway, doesn't struggle with overtaking at all even with a full car (took my family out to dinner and when we were all full on the way back it was like lol no problem) The gear shifter is on the dashboard, which you get used to really quickly, real nice to have it closer to the wheel. LOADS of storage place, some cool hidden storage things too. As for common problems, it's a Honda so they are reknowned for reliability (passed my mot with no problems last month) One thing to look out for though is a loud whirring noise coming from the gearbox, this means a bearing has gone faulty in there and will need replacing, saying that it's not really that common and only really happens on higher mileage examples. Lol I just wrote a big review by accident and got carried away :o got any more questions just PM me, I'll happily answer them if you got any info you want. Oh also, I'd personally go for the 2 door model like mine, the 4 door ones look a little ugly and most of the time have weird styling to them like reflectors on the bumper and plastic bumpers on the doors that look silly.
Took this pic of my car yesterday
Took this pic of my car yesterday
Awesome pic, are those wheels rotas?
Yeah, Rota Grid 16"
You need to go into your options, turn down the bloom. But What reflections mod is that? It's pretty sweet looking. Joking aside, sweet picture, and ride. Looks really clean.

Yea she's looking at the 3 door, hopefully with the Sport kit on if we can find one that isn't the other end of the country. They look like pretty solid cars, my friend has the EP3 type R which is a nice place to be and well put together so I'd expect it would be the same build but different engine and suspension set up. I love the shape. How is it on fuel? She's coming from a Mk3 Golf GTI 2.0 which puts out about the same power as the civic but is utterly crap on fuel. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? It looks really clean.

I paid about £2200 for mine, with 80k miles on it when I bought it. It had a dent in the side but the dealer had it fixed (which meant less room for negotiation on the price)
