Ah, well it looked good. Really had me thinking it was a GT. What happened to it?
Transmission blew on it in spring 07. I bought a clutch, and had a tranny lined up at the scrap yard, then decided I was tired of working on the car (had rebuilt the top end only a year before) and decided to take the decent parts off of it and scrap the rest.
Nooooooo way. :( Not enough manual boxbody Cavaliers/Sunbirds left.
I really like the A3/S3. BUT WHY PINK! Or is it a different color but appears pink?
I think it's silver, but the lighting just makes it appear pinkish.
Utes are great for burnouts!
lol, they need two superchargers on a built V8 to smoke up a couple of all-season tires on a vehicle with a 70/30 front weight bias? They shouldn't need more than 350HP, which is less than an LS7 makes right out of the crate.
I really like the A3/S3. BUT WHY PINK! Or is it a different color but appears pink?
It's actually like a bluey-silver, not sure on the actual paint code. It's just that effect:
Utes are great for burnouts!
this is plain retarded
All the more reason to not build a strung out monster with two roots blowers on it.
But this is so much cooler.
Ha we dont need two blowers to do burnouts, we can do it with one.

My inner sense wants to say they're horribly unreliable crap piles, but I see so many 98/99's running around today that it doesn't seem possible.
On topic of supercharged burnout beasts Had this favorited for a while, I love the little rev at the beginning, reminds me of the fast and the furious.

It's a bit dirty though, you should give it a wash. I'd love to see it in a totally clean way (if you have any pictures of it totally clean, please do post them). Also out of curiosity, what's actually in the back of it? Looks really heavy, whatever it is.
It's my toolbox packed with shit so it's heavy as hell. Also I live in Norway so the dirt is 90% road salt and I'll wash it this weekend so I'm hoping to get new pictures then. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] Also theres a couple of liters of window washer and coolant and brake fluid in the back
My EF sits the same way when there is a bunch of shit in the back :P
The hat on the parcel shelf really adds to the gentlemanly character that older car like this has...
c: I gotta get a more straw hat-ish straw hat. Like Zotic has. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] Also I have two of those hats so the other one goes in the back of the Beetle of course
Here's a picture of my car, next to an American import I found on my street. I have an American friend of the same age that drives a dark green version of said import. So I had to park up and send him this picture! Damn Avalanche takes up two spaces (it's been illegally parked for the sake of others, as parking space is an issue on the street). Ohh my cars been put to shame though :(

You can keep your old plates
You can keep your old plates
And you're ok to still use them?
And you're ok to still use them?
Yes, keep them as long as you want pay same renewal fee as yellow plates. [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] You can even transfer them car to car so im keepin em, we have 3 sets of white plates

I'm surprised someone in Britain opted to import one though, they work fine here but I imagine the size makes it a bit of a tight squeeze downtown.

This car will definately have to take various 'long way rounds' because I know plenty of roads in my area this cannot physically get through without blocking the other side. However, there is a local with a 10 year old Mustang. He regularly parks it on the main road. The road has parked cars on both sides with traffic easily flowing between. But when this damn Mustang parks there, one side of the road is blocked off and it creates a traffic nihgtmare. Damn cars too wide, the wheels are beyondthe white line for the space :/
