Going to the junkyard tomorrow, see what I can find for my soon to be Turbobrick

My modest honda civic needed to be washed.
, on Flickr Now that I've accumulated some miles I want to do something to it. I'm looking into some CAIs but since this is the first time I've looked into anything like that I basically don't know what to look for/or if they are worth it. Pros would be slight HP/TQ/(mpg?) gains (and sound...) but how about hydrolocking or increased wear on the engine (due to less filtering?). Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions?
My boss had a MS3, the only things he did to it was a test pipe and cat-back... car was still a complete monster with no negative side effects.
What spec is your MX5? the one we're picking up on Wednesday is a S-special with the LSD and extra bracing and Bilstein suspension, its the 1.6 too.
My modest honda civic needed to be washed.
Going by that picture it's already spotless.
Going by that picture it's already spotless.

needed
Not "needs"
Going by that picture it's already spotless.
Haha yeah, it NEEDED to be washed, that's at the car wersh after i wershed it. that was before.

But good job on snagging the LSD, makes a whole world of difference with the feel of the car. With such a short wheelbase, the open diff just doesn't feel near sporty enough to me.
Ah, didn't know you were planning on boosting it.
Yea first on the list is to lighten and strip it out, roll-cage, buckets etc and new suspention depending on what quality the Bilsteins are, then at some point it'll be turbo'd.
my friend and I have matching lawnmowers

[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/TxVosh.jpg[/thumb] A family friend got a new car and gave my brother and I her 2003 Toyota Corolla. It's pretty basic, though perfect for a first car. It sure beats using my mother's Uplander, which has worse gas mileage and a ton of blind spots.
tear around in friends with it, enjoy it.

She care for it, therefore reversed into (many) things as a form of measurement rather than bothering to actually park and manoeuvre.

Whose hating on Miatas? [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9497245/Photo%20Aug%2030%2C%2012%2007%2039%20PM.jpg[/t] Thats my miata. I can safely say that I enjoy driving my miata more than my rx8 that I had before. Its not nearly as fast, but I love my miata very much. I mean, this car was great. But not as much after this. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9497245/Photo%20Feb%2023%2C%204%2035%2032%20PM.jpg[/t]
I'm certainly not. I wouldn't advise a first-time driver get one, but they're excellent little cars designed by a team that sets out to do just one thing: Build a car that provides pure driving bliss. I want to buy one. Probably will once I have a steady jerb. The Ford is a wonderful thing to have, but it corners about as well as the Queen Mary, and I live out in the country with sooo many delicious apexes that are just begging to be clipped.

Miata's are the shit.
I didn't think anyone was hating on Miatas? I call them girly all the time, I don't mean anything by it. :P They're pretty sweet little cars.
