[thumb]http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/edbeced7.jpg[/thumb] Oiling system is somewhat done, as is right now it will draw oil from the left bottom and spew it in the right bottom till I get a turbo, I will be running my dads 50w brad penn oil. I'm going to pick a turbo up tomorrow from the junk yard so I can start installing it, if it doesn't work I can always put some money into buying a IHI turbo after everything is set up. Still have to modify the hydrostatic system to go fast n shizz. I will also be using a oil filter on the oil line.
Looking good so far. If you get a REALLY small T25 off of something you might get a LITTLE spool if you tune it pretty well. Look for any generation of Mitsubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talon and snag the 14b/16g/etc. off of one, they're pretty small compared to a T3. Probably won't get much spool but it'll be better than a T3. Also, run a restrictor and junction the line before the turbo and run a small line back to the engine, slightly smaller size than what you have feeding the turbo, that way you don't overwork the pump and the pressure not being pushed through the turbo (which doesn't need to be much!) can be sent back to the engine. Also don't forget to run your return as a gravity return, so mount the turbocharger high enough that the line never goes upwards at any point from turbo to engine.
Well here is my baby at my old workplace, my Chevrolet Monte Carlo '97 Z34. I bought it in a auction after I sold my Ford Windstar van which I really didn't use. The car had a few problems like misfiring, a bad starter, and body rust. After 6 months of work, it has a new coat of pearl white paint, new engine, flowmaster exhaust system, cool air intake, mirror/gps combo, and a yankee candle air fresher. It's a really nice car to drive and I'm in love with it. Did I mention it has leather seats? Still waaaaaay bigger than what you are needing. You need to find a Nissan T25 or a Mitsubishi turbo.

It makes me so happy so see some randomer in Malasia had the same idea as me. For those that don't already know, my car is the silver Getz.
retro? what projectors u got hiding behind those e46 shrouds. i had a set of 3inch e46 shrouds, well still do but dont have the truck i had them in. with a boxter s bixenon projectos.
Original plan was to put FX-R (1.0) in this set of housings, but the reflector bowl just wont allow for it, have to cut too much out and it just shatters at that point. At the time do to limited money/time I threw a set of Mini-D2S' in there. May not be the most spectacular output, but still 3x better than the factory halogen reflectors. Between Highway millage and Me experimenting, the housings are starting to look pretty worn out. Gonna have to Fab up some mounts and Give the FX-R another go.

It'll have 50 miles on it before they can sell it, but that also fetches a discount. It had twelve on it when I drove it last week.) $17k. A good used car costs more than half that, and this has a Toyota Lifetime Warranty (parts and maintenance, oil changes, etc). Don't break my rationalizations, please. I worked hard on them. What do you think?
my summer fun car in the front, with my old DD truck behind it. recently sold it and got a 2012 Platinum F-150
It just doesn't look very safe, that's my only problem with it. It's also expensive.
It's actually larger and has more airbags than both the Smart ForTwo, the Mini Hardtop, and the Fiat 500. It's also basically the American version of the Toyota iQ and the Aston Martin Cygnet, both of which have gotten a 4.5 out of 5 safety rating in the EU. This thing, aside from having a CVT and only being available in automatic, is the exact same car with a slightly altered body style. In America, it's got a 4.5 star combined safety rating, which is close to other cars in the class. Unlike the Smart ForTwo, you don't sit right back against the rear window. It's got at least a foot of buffer zone with the rear seats (One is nonfunctional, the other is a squeeze. Don't expect to be hauling more than one or two people on occasions... The front is very roomy, however), and a rear curtain airbag to prevent serious injury from rear collisions. It is a bit expensive, true, but that Cash for Clunkers program murdered the used car market in my state. Cars that used to sell for $2-3k now cost $8-10k... And these are cars from 2006 and before! This thing costs less than twice that, and it doesn't have 200k miles on it at purchase. And again, lifetime warranty for parts, repairs, maintenance. That'll get me through college, at least. And then it'll get beaten to pieces in the university parking lots, and I'll buy another (used, because cheap) after.
If i had that much money to buy a car, i would get an s2000. You can get a nice one for that much.
If i had that much money to buy a car, i would get an s2000. You can get a nice one for that much.
If I were to get a convertible roadster, I'd have to have time to drive enjoyably, and space to do it in. While Tennessee does have some very nice roads (Most limited to 35mph in the parks, though.), I don't have time to drive them. And I need something I can park easily, because open spaces at UT are few and far between. I can park this sideways in a motorcycle spot, and that means volumes more than a pretty car with an abundance of horses in the hood.
I don't drive a coupe because it's easier, it's because i enjoy the style and feel of it. Just like i don't drive a manual because it's better, i do it because it's more enjoyable. Driving for most people in the subforum is more than just having an easy car to take you from a to b. S2000's aren't hard to park also. If you want a boring toyota commuter over a 6 speed 250hp rwd honda(or any sporty car for 17k), go ahead. That's your choice. [editline]17th April 2012[/editline] that's just my opinion though, there is nothing wrong with having your own.
I just see any car like an IQ or Smart as a Geo Metro with extra features. it sucks to drive, gets 60mpg, looks silly, and is 90% plastic. I never had liked them and never will. It is honestly easier to get a nice looking civic.
I would rock a Metro for fucking sure Especially the real Suzuki counterpart in GTI form: Looks decent for a gas getter Nice filled engine bay too: 100hp out of 1.3 liters? In a car that weighs 1,654 pounds? I could live with that.
That sounds pretty fucking awesome to me.
Whats the point on buying a cheap new car instead of some used proper car [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] they dont seem to hold value very well and also are very depressing to drive
Ollih, that's a very wise thing to say. It makes up for me having to look at your old avatar all those months.

Scoring 91%. It also features a very innovative rear window airbag, so if something large goes into the back of it, an airbag deploys to protect rear seat occupants against the very near rear impact.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Tln2s.jpg[/t] Managed to get 1 of the decals on in the 5 minute time frame of no-rain us brits have. Sadly it couldn't even go 5 minutes and started raining as i started so it's kinda rushed :S.
