I've created a High resolution T-shirt mockup for Photoshop. Unlike other mockups you aren't limited to colors or size restrictions, you can display your art on a tee that actually looks printed and well done. It's a high quality PSD file containing: • American Apparel Tee layout. • Multicolor shirt's available in all printing colors. • Shadow & Highlight layers so your art actually looks printed. • 300DPI at 7x5 Inches. This file is available here: http://tinypay.me/~7c6eMUQ Most, if not all other mockups range from $30~$500USD. This file is created with intentions of helping artists display their work at a more professional level, for a fraction of the price; or to help companies with proof issues regarding clients, helping them visualize a better finished product. If you're a cheapskate and want to try before you buy, you can pay with a tweet too for a sample psd. Bought instantly. This is amazing.
Added pay with a tweet for a preview of the psd.
all you did was cutout a high resolution of a shirt and add some blending options to a layer i absolutely cannot believe you're asking people to pay for this [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] that is honestly fucking disgraceful
why are you charging money for this
i'd very much like somebody to make a (better) one and post it here for free can't believe you're trying to get money for this shit
What the fuck are you asking people to pay money for? An image of a T-shirt with shadows layers? What the hell?! And why don't you show an example of how it looks? It's bad enough to ask people to cough up money for this, but to even request free commercial to even get an example is really bad. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] OMG! SO REALIZTICZ!
I rated friendly before I read it wasn't free :froggonk:
I could do the same in 5 minutes in photoshop and distribute it for free.
That's the sample? It doesn't look very good
It is indeed. Got this account I've never used and paid with a tweet and just deleted the tweet afterwards. And what do you mean it doesn't look good? Can't you see the wrinkles? Everyone has massive amounts of wrinkles on their shirts when wearing them! And they are SUPER CLEAR! [editline]16th June 2011[/editline]
I rated friendly before I read it wasn't free :froggonk:
Give him a new rating then?

for how long have you been stranded on an island using the same shirt
You guys are completely missing the point of this. ANY other mockup you find on the internet (for free) is very small, not to mention 72dpi generally unrealistic. I took time to create this with a shadows layer, highlight layer and texture detail. I did research to match every color that american apparel has available to print and based the shape off a real shirt I took a picture of. Last time I check it wasn't wrong to ask for a little incentive for some work, especially work that's intended to help people, not anywhere in this whole thread did I ever say it was free, and any other mockup you'd find on the internet starts at $30. Also, the free mockup looks terrible because it's a small, free mockup. It's intended to show the level of detail put into it, such as the shadows + highlights. It's not intended to display your art at awesome detail, that's what the full one is for. Here is an example:
You're asking people to pay for a template what are you fucking high?
You know what that's kind of neat. I often see a bunch of shit being sold including these kind of mock-ups. I think templates like these should be free in general uploaded on some archive on the net or something. But as long as you're making it really cheap compared to those other idiots selling it for 30$ then you're doing something good. Don't listen to these assholes, they've obviously never needed something like this and thus can't be thankful for your cheaper alternative. [editline]17th June 2011[/editline]
You're asking people to pay for a template what are you fucking high?
Yes he is. But it's REALLY CHEAP. Others are asking much more for it. Like I said it pisses me off we need to pay for stuff like this at all, but at least he's making it cheaper.
If $3.00 is too much you can check out other templates. http://arsenal.gomedia.us/templates.html
How dare you charge money for something you've made.
BTW if you get a lot of sales you should add different models. Like hoodies and v-necks and so on. If you can, try to add pictures of shirts that look like someone is wearing them. And I think a macro for Photoshop would be lovely: a macro that just bends the image you paste in the layer for the art for the shirt. So it looks more real.
How dare you charge money for something you've made.
He can do that, but can't be surprised to be flamed for advertising it here... The account is from '05, he should have a good understanding of the community, and that they aren't going to spend money for a picture of a shirt, no matter how many minutes you spent on it in photoshop.
Bought a copy for myself, To all of you saying "blah blah I could do this in just a few minutes", well paying $3, supporting forum talent, helping out a friend and saving some of my own time is well worth $3 to me. This reminded me I have a line of Zombie shirts I want to get designed and printed and I'd only ever print on American Apparel, in fact I only wear AA printed T's so this is spot on. Thanks for the time saver!

jesus chris just give it to the community for free, it didn't take you long to make it and people will appreciate it more.
i used that same source image and made something just as good for free
It's a very well organized PSD, he invested some time into it.
It took me a while to make it actually. Each layer has it's own artwork mask and color mask too, among everything else. If you guys want free tee mockups just google it. But you'll get exactly what you (didn't) pay for, a 500px 72dpi 1-2 color mockup from hot topic.
helping out a friend
suddenly i care about your post less
suddenly i care about your post less
I make my living off sales of digital goods on the internet, might as well spread the joy.
you were actually convincing and i was agreeing with what you said mostly but if you're trying to defend/sell/argue about something you might want to avoid "and this guy is my friend!!" as part of that
