Don't let their brutal ratings lower your view of them, I struggled past it and realised they write some pretty interesting and knowledgeable stuff.
I do read some of their reviews when I'm bothered. But I can't take them as a whole too seriously. It'll take time for me to digest what they're on about.
Why is Clockwork Angels still not out yet? Wasn't it suppose to release this year?

Modest Mouse's new album. It better be improved over their last one.
Couple things coming up in 2012. Big Krit's new album in particular. Loved Return of 4eva. Can't wait. And the Avalanches' say that they're new album will be ready in 2012, [sp]but it's only been "almost ready" for like 5 years now... :([/sp]
People are raving for this one. I'll give it a listen tomorrow.
I might have a listen to that one myself, actually Also a while back we were talking about coldplay's new album and how it was going to be a disappointment I didn't find it to be, I found Paradise at least to be a really cool tune and kinda lovely plus the production quality was very high because Brian Eno
Well that judgement was based on the "Teardrop is a Waterfall" song being released. Paradise is very good. Also I did hear that Kate Bush, and it's damn good. Very slow moving but I really like it, very enveloping and ambient. Lots of piano and less of the "explosive" that she's been renowned for. Some may be disappointed but I loved it.
The new ZZ Top album I can't wait
http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/new_order/lost_sirens/ new "New Order"(Joy Division without Ian) album.

Yeah, I haven't actually heard the album yet. Only the two singles. But in all seriousness, how can an album produced by Brian Eno be bad?
Prodigy to release a new album sometime in 2012. I liked their previous one, not as much as their earlier work but this one will be something I'll hear. :)
Bastard Noise and Lack Of Interest split next year. Holy fuck. (It's gonna be vinyl-only, though, better acquire a record player in the meantime! hah) And appa-a-arently Extortion and Agoraphobic Nosebleed are going to do a split as well next year. That should be awesome too.
Gojira's next album, whenever it comes out. Heard their EP, "Of Blood And Salt", and I am eagerly awaiting the cd.
New full length album will be released by Profound Lore Records this August. Recording to commence in March.
This was posted in November so it's clearly next year. Plus it's still pretty far away.
Looking forward to the new Deltron album. Should be coming out next year.
Looking forward to the new Deltron album. Should be coming out next year.
If that's the same Deltron as in "Deltron 3030". then fuck yeah.
They've been working on it for such a long time, hopefully it does actually come when they say it's coming out
So it's taken them 5 years to make it. Better be damn good but Deltron 3030 is a properly awesome album.
http://www.pitchfork.com/news/44793-sleigh-bells-announce-new-album/ fuck yes
They any good?
Yeah I love them, pretty unique style that's like noise rock mixed with cheers
Might give them a whirl, looking for fresh noise sounds.
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Soundtrack gets released next week, definitely looking forward to it.
I don't know how I'll listen to THREE HOURS of it though. One disc at a time, I guess. [editline]2nd December 2011[/editline] Also, Trent Reznor related, the How To Destroy Angels LP is something I'm interested in hearing. I liked the EP, but I'm not comfortable with Merriqueen yet...

And I forgot to put the How to Destroy Angels album in my post too, really looking forward to that one.
A Silver Mt. Zion will be releasing two 7" vinyls early next year.
Albums?
Albums?
7" vinyls usually are just singles. Some bands call them EPs but they're really just singles..
