no herschel dont [sp]let them stay on the farm[/sp] no herschel why
Ok, people keep talking about Shane vs Rick and the decisions they've made. But what would you have done with the guy...
In general, in a zombie apocalypse I'd give someone the same consideration I'd want: If saving me is not possible OR will cause others to lose their lives, a bullet to head is what I ask for. I don't care about coming back as a zombie, but I don't want to have to go through the experience of being eaten alive by them. Of all the options, the only totally unacceptable one would be for you to use me as zombie bait.
Shit man, this is turning out like Macbeth by Shakespeare. [sp]Rick's wife giving him ideas of getting rid of Shane who a lot of people like, just like how Lady Macbeth got Macbeth to kill Duncan[/sp] Rick, [sp]don't turn into a psycho now![/sp]
I think it's pretty much common fucking sense not to check the thread until you've seen the episode. It's obvious we're all going to be talking about what happened in the most recent episode, and you shouldn't have to click the spoiler every post just to discuss it.
Yeah, I don't understand people freaking out about spoilers after an episode has aired. Posting spoilers about future episodes or the comics, yeah, tag those, but for an episode that's just aired? Watch the fucking thing before reading the thread. It's your own fault if you don't.
Ok, people keep talking about Shane vs Rick and the decisions they've made. But what would you have done with the guy who fell on the fence? Save him, put him out of his misery, use him as bait, or something else? I personally would've just put a bullet in his skull. Trying to save the kid was stupid, in my opinion, because they are endangering themselves for some one who was just trying to kill them (It doesn't matter if he's "Just a Kid.") The kid also seemed to protest the idea of having his leg chopped off, and he had this desperate look on his face like he wanted to be killed so the pain would end. I'm curious to see what other solutions you guys can come up with.
I think I would have saved him, even though he shot at me. (The only way I wouldn't is if he actually killed or injured one of us, then I'd just leave him.) He may have been a danger before, but I doubt he's going to stab rick in the back when he was the only one kind enough to save him. And like rick said, his group left him to die, so they aren't out looking for him, and I doubt he's gonna go running back to them when they abandoned him. Might as well just make him part of the family.
Ok so Andrea is way cooler in the comic [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline] The most popular pass time in the comic seems to be [sp]talking to inanimate objects[/sp]

I didn't really like those parts. I'm not sure why.
jesus christ do you not know what spoilers are [editline]22nd February 2012[/editline] in every single one of your posts, man
(comic spoiler) I loved the moment in the comic when Rick [sp]was saved by aliens.[/sp] It was just so sudden and so well thought out and how [sp]the aliens probed his anus[/sp] really made me cringe. [sp]spoilers save lives[/sp]
Great page king.
Also to those below and throughout the thread that bitch constantly about how things are different than the comic and therefore it's inferior, why does that even matter?
Because the tv show is based off of awesome source material and it's disappointing when something else is created with the same name and is noticably worse. Creating a seperate thread for the comic would be pointless because very few people actually talk about it, and it gives some purpose for discussion between episodes, because if you hadn't noticed nobody really posts about episodes between episodes. I'm sure people wouldn't fuss about the differences if it had a different name and was just "inspired by" the walking dead, but no. the title is The Walking Dead so if people want to discuss the differences that's perfectly acceptable. The only one that seems to be bitching about anything is you, the rest of us are having a discussion.
The comic is still as much of The Walking Dead as the show is. To argue otherwise is just ridiculous. And besides - it's a show based on a comic. So, in a way, isn't talking about the comic talking about the show? They follow each other loosely but they're still in the same universe with many of the same characters.

most of the effects are painfully obvious, but they manage to blend in the cgi zombies very well.
I think they made the effects more obvious in that video.
talking generally in the show.
at least they don't overuse the effects like in many other series
most of the effects are painfully obvious, but they manage to blend in the cgi zombies very well.
Firing weapons is the worst, the barn massacre was them all not moving the guns and random muzzle flashes
I want a GIF of Triggerfinger's last scene.
I don't think there has ever been a show I've willfully watched that has had me hating every single fucking character before this. I used to like the redneck, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO they had to make him an asshole too!
Okay... can we decide to only spoiler the comic book spoilers then? You don't go to this thread when there's a new episode out until you've watched that episode because people will inevitably be talking about the current episode in the thread. So if we only spoiler tagged the comic spoilers, only people dumb enough to look at the thread before watching the episode would be spoilered. It would also make it much more easy to distinct between comic and the tv show, for all the people who have not yet read the comic. Because by not properly spoiler tagging the comic spoilers, you're ruining both for people who watch the show, and the people planning on reading the comic. [editline]24th February 2012[/editline] If we do this, give people not using spoiler tags for the comic a 1- 3 day ban or something, and likewise ban the people complaining about having read the spoiler tag despite that we have agreed on only using spoiler tags for the comic. So that we all have incentive to use the damn tags in a way that doesn't ruin shit for anyone not being a jackass.

But there will be someone reading the thread who's not reading the comic, at a different point in the comic, or at a different point in the show. We should spoiler tag everything for those people, because someone will pop up in the thread and inevitably have a spoiler from a later episode/volume of the series ruined for them.
anyone got any torrents of issue 94 and up? (User was banned for this post ("Asking for warez" - GranPC))

If this can't be respected, the comic discussion should not be allowed in this thread since it does not even belong in this forum.

I used to like the redneck, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO they had to make him an asshole too!
Yeah they could kill off half the cast at the moment and I doubt i'd care past "well now what" especially Lori. in the comic [sp]when she dies it's actually pretty sad[/sp] She's an interesting character, she's still worried sick about rick and can be an emotinal bitch at times (mostly when she gets pregnant) but she still balanced logic with her emotinal attachment to her family. In the show shes all "CRAZY FUCKIN EMOTIONS ALL DAY ERRDAY, zombie apocalypse? logic? what are those unfamilar things? I'll just ignore our situation as a whole and be a total emotinal bitch to make bad situations even worse." Why they think watching half the shit she does is enjoyable is beyond me.

For example, I'm constantly pissed at a certain character in the show who is portrayed completely differently (and way more badass) in the comics. You can't really expect people to not discuss it, and where else is there to do it? As long as it is labelled as a comic spoiler then I don't really see a problem. That's just my opinion though.

i still can't find any issues 94 or higher... iam so anxious to see whats gonna happen :c
For those saying how people don't need to spoiler tag the most recent episode because you should have watched it before you read the thread, which I agree. But for those that come into the thread who haven't seen it at all and asks questions about the show and if they should watch it or not. They can read untagged spoilers that could ruin the show like if X person died.
