youtube.com/preparefortheshift I do daily videos, most of them are shitty, so ignore them anything named is somewhat worth watching getting a GoPro for Mammoth this weekend, i'll do a video for it in 1080p 60fps magic.
I love Sony Vegas. It just fits me so well.

Avid media composer master race
Avid media composer master race
final cut pro 7
Well yeah, but that only applies if you have a mac. Final Cut owns
Well yeah, but that only applies if you have a mac. Final Cut owns
the new version (FCP X) is a bit of a step backwards imo
the new version (FCP X) is a bit of a step backwards imo
I've heard that. They said it was a bit over-simplified and some other shit.

It ain't exactly creative, and pretty far from professional-looking, but I did make a video guide on how to build a computer a while ago that I put up on youtube. I had to upload in it 5 parts at the time, here they are: Movie Maker up in this bitch.
Well yeah, but that only applies if you have a mac. The interface makes no sense to me. Same with Premiere Pro :tinfoil:

That's exactly how I had it with SVP, but I can't figure FCP out at all. The layers/tracks seem weird to me, and so does everything else.

I spend most of my time on Avid but my college usually requires that I edit on Final Cut. It took me less than an hour to know the basics of it. I thought it was actually pretty simple. [editline]29th June 2011[/editline] But hey if you don't dig that macbook I'll be happy to buy it off of you for a few bux ;)
My Mac Mini is inept for editing, BUT I LOVE IT
Here's my finished video from the weekend in France. I both shot and edited the vid.
Nice video but I hope you guys won't be using that for commercial uses with all the music that's in it and stuff ; )
We won't. It's for personal use. I know it doesn't justify using the music, but it's only to show friends and other drivers how our trip was.
We won't. It's for personal use. I know it doesn't justify using the music, but it's only to show friends and other drivers how our trip was.
Thought so. Again, pretty cool video and what a shame about your driver
A fast made video. All the conditions were crappy, but I thought the vid was worth posting. Crappy weather, crappy track, crappy places for me to stand as a photographer. Overall not a huge success, except we won the event.
I think your videos are cool but they could really use a tripod or rig. Especially with the pans. It will also help you to get better focus because you don't have to worry about having to stabilize your camera because the tripod will do the job for you.
Yeah you're right. I just think using my tripod is a bigger disadvantage than advantage. I gotta get a monopod or something

Since I mainly have been trying to do effects work, I use Premiere Pro with a dynamic link to After Effects and it works brilliantly, only thing is my laptop isn't as powerful as it should be for this sort of stuff. Working on a short film now about a guy who kills people and leaves semen and penguin bars at the scene of the crime.
Here's my first major video; What made this video so hard to do was the fact that we had to make it in 48 hours. (Competition) So @7:30 on a friday night, our group went downtown and pick a genre from a hat. We got fantasy. We also had to incorporate 3 things- 1) A character named Matt. 2) A Calendar. 3) The line "Where do you want to meet?" That night (Friday) we stayed up thinking of ideas and came op with this one. So everyone got back together on Saturday morning (We figured we'd film all day Saturday and edit Saturday night though Sunday evening. 7:30 on sunday night being the deadline) So I ended up not sleeping for 56 hours. Really good experience though. (Yes I know the war theme is a bit cliche.)
Been dying for one.
Can make a DIY one for ~$20. I'm planning on making that and a slider/dolly.
Can make a DIY one for ~$20. I'm planning on making that and a slider/dolly.
If you are I'd like to see a youtube video of it functioning well and then I'll pretty much buy it off you. :)
