Going to have a go at these sometime
I really needto cook more now that I live alone but damn I am tight on budget :(
so i've attempted a home version of Innocent's kiwis, apples & limes smoothie 1 apple 1 slice of pineapple 1/2 kiwi (i used a full one since they were quite small) 5 grapes lime juice [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19936378/DSC02086.JPG[/t] this was the outcome [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19936378/DSC02087.JPG[/t] the biggest problem is that i didn't skin the apple (skins are good for you!) and i didn't know the grapes were seeded. so it's a little lumpy and bitty, which isn't the greatest. but i can change it for the next time i do it! all these smoothies are killing my mouth though, i've got so many ulcers at the moment ugh. tasty though!!
Just made spinach with cooked potatoes and a sunny side egg.

interesting thread this one. it's strange that i haven't found my way to the cooking forum before. if i got the idea right the point of this is to make food, take pictures and post them. i'm missing out on the finished product, but i have some "wip" shots of the food being made. so this is a plaice stuffed with lime slices, red onion and thyme just before we put it in the oven. and some clams that we had for starters. with this we had some bleak roe and cream sauce, potatoes and of course some greenery. everything was delicious. i shall try to take more pics of the finished food next time.
some more food. this time i didn't really get any good captures of the actual cooking. i was simply too tired, too lazy and too hungry to try to take any splendid pics let alone cook something i'd serve to friends. like i said i was lazy and tired, so something quick for starters was the only real option. and since we were so hungry, nothing that took time was on the menu. chicken, some mangold salad with some red onions, simple cream sauce, and some cherry tomatoes. i would have had some wine for this but eeeh... beer was closer at hand.

Just tried Marmite, it tasted like... well, something for sure. Wish I didn't.

Me and my friend made Nutella doughnuts today. Shit's good.
last nights dinner. pork tenderloin with ginormous amounts of thyme, rice, sauce made from the steak sauce, some red whine and cream, and some baby spinach on the side. to that we had primitivo di manduria. fast, simple and quite tasty.

first try at onion potato gratin. and loin (idk which, top sirloin i guess. we call it 'fransyska' which translates to french girl). not satisfied with the gratin, not sure what i did wrong. didn't taste bad tho
what's the sauce on the other side of the plate?
pepper sauce
some people think you don't need a sauce with a steak, but i love steak diane so fuck those guys.
i cook the same damn thing every time i take pics. well this time i actually made some pommes duchesse. they tasted great but as you can see they lost some shape because i used cold milk instead of warming it up a bit. i was once again too hungry to be ambitious. i was also experimenting a bit as i made a marinade for the chicken that i usually only do when i grill it, but it worked out in the pan too. Oh God! Why am i reading this thread? Now I feel myself so hungry. Baww!
last nights dinner was steak, potatoes, onions, sauce and salad. on a side note, raw meat looks pretty fucking disgusting when photographed.
You should totally make wallpapers of food
the problem i have right now is that i can't edit my raw files, only the jpegs. this mac only has ios 1.4 or something and that doesn't support my camera. but i suppose i could try and take some more refined shots of the food i cook and actually take the time to use the proper lenses and whatnot. anyway, that reminds me i have some shots of some meatballs i have to upload. [editline]9th December 2011[/editline] there we go. some swedish meatballs for ya. also, all my food glistens :v:
