Devon and Cornwall police have some awesome vehicles. Here is a selection featuring the best car ever made, the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth.
This is what they drove before :')
they also had one with a Porche 911 engine used on the Autobahn! :D
I have a fascination with police cars, I especially think the battenburg markings in the UK are nice. Universal standardization is appealing to me, even though I'm not very socialistic... anyways: and the sheriff's office:

I was in Fort Collins last month and talked to a sgt. which drove that truck. Fort Collins is such a nice department.
Including the town before and after my mom's We've got 4 of these on the active roster.
haha ok wtf is that
We have state police, not town police, but most of our cars are either a Holden Commodore or a Ford Falcon: Each state generally uses different colour schemes, but the vehicles are the same.
LAPD, pretty generic.
My county's are boring :( These guys are the true assholes:
haha ok wtf is that
They built a select number of them for an Anniversary (tho i forget exactly what). The retro lamps are fully functional, but I've never seen them used. They use Deck/Visor and lightheads like a ghost car instead.
Does anyone elses departments have the 2013 Interceptors?
our city police and state troopers
Sick decals. Simple = better.
Ranges from that to Jeep Commanders, Ford Escapes, and Dodge Chargers. That's the general color scheme for the base I'm currently stationed. (I'm in the Air Force)
Can't find my towns, but I found a guy who makes die-cast replicas of some of the surrounding towns, though they're kinda old,so they may not use these designs anymore: Monroe, NY (Closest to me I could find. It borders my town) Cornwall, NY Newburgh, NY MTA Police. I see these around because I live right next to the railroad, and trucks occasionally crash into the bridge because they're too tall. huzzah! I figured out what my county's light bars are! Tomar Blades with Alleys, Takedowns, 9 modules to the rear, 8 front. These are really cool because they have a super low profile, and make the cars look vicious. They also have one of the coolest default strobe patterns I've seen. They also have an integrated traffic director in the rear of the light bar. It takes over the flashers and can go left, right, or center out. They're also bright as FUCK.
Damn. I guess their budget is pretty high to have BMW's
Pictures seems to be from Germany, Bimmers there are like the Ford/GM/Chrystler cops car we have here. Meaning they are local, thus cheaper. Probably not like Ford being everywhere here, since Ford is the cheapest when it comes to company/corporate vehicles. Since I'm fairly certain Bimmers still have a nice sale price there, but like any corporation or any government fed company like the copsers, they have way lower price.

Turns out if you run them long and hard during the driving course (85mph power slide v:v:v) they overheat.
I don't live in Pensacola but Lebanon PD's cars are in the same color scheme. Even have the word police painted on the same. Ford isn't the only company that can give PDs awesome fleet pricing, but they can provide a damn near indestructible sedan. ...or, well, used to, until the dumbasses canned it and expect cops to buy the new Taurus instead....and while I'm sure it's a good car I don't feel it will have the same level of can't-break-it that the 'Vics have. I forsee many departments keeping their 'vics running as long as parts are available.

Its hard to say good-bye to a vehicle that has been the workhorse of almost every department to go to this new guy on the block. However, I'll tell you that the new cars are nothing to be afraid of. They are pure awesome.

Last of the classic RWD V8 American sedans, staple police car for longer than I've been alive, and pretty much impossible to kill. It will be missed. I wonder if the Chargers will ever get the durability up to that level...also it must be said CVs handle like oil tankers too. The new Taurus SHO does handle quite nicely and will out-accelerate them.
Ford do have the cheapest of the line in term of price, which is why most PD bulk buy. Working for a state fed corp, the fleet we have is mainly made of Ford Rangers, for light duty and common move, and because they are friggin' cheap. We use F-250 for those who move a lot, without exactly doing much off-road, and Ram 1500 for heavy duty stuff. The only GM we have are the cheapest Canyon they offered, not even 4x4, not even lifted, smallest engine, they're always broken. We've got one good GM, it's another Canyon, but is 4x4, lifted, has biggest motor. Crown vics may be solid, but they are also fucking cheap in term of bulk purchase. But this is just to say that, we pick ford because in offer appeal they are the cheapest, so do most PD. Our Ram 1500 have between 80,000km and 150,000km and are all 2008, yet we're changing them all next summer. They get their life way harder than any police interceptor will ever have. :v:
Holy hell. haha. My department turns over squads every 100k.. which is why we are getting all these PI's and the SUV's
