not digging the laces
I've seen a few people wear a peacoat around CSU, but the vast majority just slap on a winter jacket and maybe a scarf. I'm still surprised I see women wearing the tight stocking pants even though it's below freezing outside.
Women logic: look good no matter the weather
Ok guys. I have a couple questions. But first, some pictures. So, feel free to critique the outfit on any basis. My hair, on the other hand, is something i can't do much about at the moment. I'm a young actor and the role that I'm in now requires me to grow out my hair (beard and all). If you guys have any styling tips, go for it (I'm often at a loss for what I should do with it). Also, what goes well with a dark tweed jacket? I have one that I really like, although it's at the dry cleaners, but I can't find a whole lot that goes well with it. Thoughts?
jacket is too big
jacket is too big
In what way? Shoulders, length?

Also, I was never a big fan of beige pants with dark blazers, maybe because theres a lot of kids that go to prom in that combo. Maybe you should just go with some dark pants? [editline]4th February 2012[/editline]
That picture really isn't helpful in illustrating the point you want to make, not only because I wouldn't have even NOTICED he was wearing a hat, but you're putting hypothetical other clothes on him as well :v: Anyway, if you're wearing a bowler with any kind of modern getup, even if in essence it comes off alright, the majority of people are still gonna see you and smirk to each other and think you're a wannabe something or other. It's out of place, you know, like wearing a waistcoat casually with jeans and a Tshirt. You'll turn heads but not in a complimentary way. Who said anything about a beanie? A bowler ain't no type of beanie man! But if you want a beanie as an alternative, it's pretty difficult to go wrong. If you want my personal views on them, I don't care for slouch beanies on dudes, nor very much for wearing a beanie really far back to reveal the front bit of your fringe. The only beanie I've bought in the last couple of years is a black knit one, almost identical to this: I wouldn't mind having a beanie with a stubby brim on it though, or at least trying one on. Now that I've thought of that I'll take a look in a few shops if I remember
also heres the video if you want to see it http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlgl3l_subbed-gnt-what-matsumoto-likes_fun

I dont know, just try it on. I don't know your wardrobe, but try navy pants, dark gray pants, and so on. I'm not saying beige is bad, it's just that I've seen too many. Keep in mind that once you change the color of your pants, maybe you'll also have to change the color of your shirt and tie to keep it tasteful. You can also change the blazers color to something brighter, but faded. Pastel colors are "in" for now, although they're still a bit excentric if you don't want to get much attention.

I might post some more pictures in the future, but thanks for your help. And pastels have always been kinda annoying to me, but then i'm a bit of an introvert. Also, any advice on the hair? Nobody really commented much on it.
Got myself a nice cord blazer today. with elbow patches and everything
Trying a new hair style today, for some reason my hair didn't feel like complying with what I thought it should look like so this is the accidental result. I kind of like it. I still hate using pomade though, wish I knew what to use to give my hair a better look to it.
i see that shirt everywhere
its a cool shirt anyway
eh, I think that when theres too much of something, it's just not fun anymore. Like, the kids in portugal ALWAYS wear DC, Vans, Volcom, RipCurl, and/or any other skate/surf clothing brand, because that shit's so hot and cool. And it's been like that every since 2008 or i dunno, a long ass time. My parents couldn't afford those clothes. At like 30€ a simple tshirt, or 60€ a pair of swimming trunks? Fuck that I can get better stuff for half that price. And since everybody would wear the same, I just started hating the brands and the people wearing it. My friends do, but they're my friends. However, I think some stuff they have is cool, but wearing a 30€ t-shirt because something is printed there? I think that theres a good part of the shirts, where people show really cool, original, creative designs, that is completely buried underneath these companies and people who only buy what they see others wear and shit. So yeah, support the indie clothing companies etc. Like this guy, who is totally not me just casually plugging a recent product in this post and saying it will be available soonish http://cargocollective.com/blackite#2733216/Mind-Games
Since everyone is going off the topic, can you guys advise me on what to do with my hair and how that looks? That shirt was all I had to wear today because I got behind on ironing and laundry. I don't like wearing gtaphic tees 99% of the time. TL;DR - Hair, not shirt
it's ok, but I think there are other styles that would favor you more. I don't know exactly which
UH OH Rusty has some competition [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/kmoyI.jpg[/thumb] lmao I just noticed he's actually in that picture. Found here

Where can I get band tees for reasonable prices? I don't feel good spending 100 bucks on 5 t-shirts
gonna recommend you dont spend any money on band tees. they usually look obnoxious
