I know this isn't that great a movie,
One of the best Bond movies mate. Voted agree. Sad that he was only Bond once.
Should we nominate the bond series as a whole like some others?
Should we nominate the bond series as a whole like some others?
Nope.
Series has far too many shit movies to be nominated as a whole
Pink Floyd The Wall (1982)
Series has far too many shit movies to be nominated as a whole
Kind of agree with you there, I think I'll nominate Casino Royale though.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) I know this isn't that great a movie, but it just has so many memorable scenes. I enjoyed it, and i am sure many other did
:allears: Lazenby was my favorite Bond.
Series has far too many shit movies to be nominated as a whole
Roger Moore's bond movies were ass

[editline]9th June 2011[/editline]
:allears: Lazenby was my favorite Bond.
Dalton for me. Also Roger Moore... [editline]9th June 2011[/editline]
Series has far too many shit movies to be nominated as a whole
Die Another Day, View to a Kill, Diamonds Are Forever, Never Say Never Again and License To Kill. Very dull bond movies.
License To Kill.
That was a boring one
That was a boring one
Living Daylights was awesome though. He had promise as bond after that.
Die Another Day, View to a Kill, Diamonds Are Forever, Never Say Never Again and License To Kill. Very dull bond movies.
And Quantum of Solace. I can barely even call that a Bond movie
And Quantum of Solace. I can barely even call that a Bond movie
Wasn't bad. It's less of a bond movie I'll give you that. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] I'd call it more of a "breaking down of Bond".
I watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service about two years ago and really hated it. It had some really weird stuff like the part where you see him going to see some genealogy expert, and you hear him narrate over the top of it, and the weird sped up fight scenes. Also, Blofeld's plan of taking over the world through STD-infected women was like something from Austin Powers. Diana Rigg was a good Bond girl, but that's the only thing I thought was good about that film. I might appreciate it a bit more if I watched it now, but when I saw it I couldn't wait for it to end. I was only watching it because I'd decided I was going to watch all the Bond films in order (there were still about half that I hadn't seen at the time). Completely hate Quantum of Solace, though.
Quantum of Wallace was a bit of "overkill" rather than being true to what bond is. It wasn't Craig's fault though.
Roger Moore's bond movies were ass
Eh I'd say my personal favorite would be Live and Let Die. Goldeneye was a good video game, I wouldn't say the movie was.
Goldeneye was a good video game, I wouldn't say the movie was.
Goldeneye was a good movie, the soundtrack was too mellow though.
Zombieland.
Has Battle Royale been mentioned yet? If not, that.
Zombieland.
I liked Zombieland, fuck all yo disagrees :colbert:
I liked Zombieland, fuck all yo disagrees :colbert:
I liked it too, but not enough for it to deserve a spot on the list.
Hmm, that's a good point I completely forgot about that [editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
The Abyss
Who would disagree with this movie jeez guys give this some more votes
Who would disagree with this movie jeez guys give this some more votes
It's a beautiful movie, can't believe they cut out the wall of water part out in the original. Director's cut for life. :pcgaming:
Is that the one with the rat breathing liquid I think that's the one I got
Is that the one with the rat breathing liquid I think that's the one I got
I'm not completely sure if that was cut out. But if the wall of water thing was in it, it's the director's cut. Severely overlooked movie.
I just remember hearing about the best underwater scenes in any movie ever and aliens of some kind and I was all "shit nigga I gotta see somma dis" I think I'm the only one out of my friends who has seen it, one of them is a real movie buff like me [editline]10th June 2011[/editline] hell, he's the dude that lend me his portable hard drive and gave me 500 gigs of movies and tv shows what a bro
Has "A Serious Man" been posted yet?
I disliked that movie.
I disliked that movie.
Don't like Jews eh?
Don't like Jews eh?
I just don't like movies that I have 0 interest in. I didn't care about anyone in the movie and nothing interesting actually happened.
