Shit, do US stores ship to the UK? I pay £260 for an ICS AKS-74u when it costs £180 over the pond. :smith:
Maybe, you'll have to request they paint it orange unless you have a UKRA (or whatever its called) license. You'll also end up with about the same amount after shipping anyway.
Ok, not totally new to airsoft, but I am new to all this UKARA bullshit. UK is the only country in the whole fucking world with this law. I am over eighteen but it's telling me to play at least 3 times at a UKARA registered airsoft site, but I have no Airsoft sites anywhere near where I live. Anyone know how to get past this bullshit without having to pay for 3 airsoft venues? Thanks.
I doubt it'll cost £80 to ship. [editline]25th March 2011[/editline]
Ok, not totally new to airsoft, but I am new to all this UKARA bullshit. That's what I'm doing. They can't do shit like take it away or force you to paint it once you own it.

All I need now is friends.
Haha, why would I buy from AirSplat? Anyway, it's nice that it's not a legal requirement to be part of UKARA, as it's basically paying to be able to buy something. The gifting of RIF's is actually stated to be fine in the guidelines.

Err, I'm new to airsoft and I brought a G&G RK47 /w Blowback after Christmas and I want to add a silencer onto it. Where can I find out what silencers will and won't fit my gun?
Most silencers are 14mm counter clockwise they also make ones that are 14mm clockwise so just check the threads and see if they are counterclockwise or clockwise
Getting screwed by UK tax it is! :v:
Exactly. Over £80 shipping, and not to mention the VAT
Too bad every fucking AK is out of stock. :ussr:
Too bad every fucking AK is out of stock. :ussr:
If you're looking for tactic|o|oLzZ AK's I know a site that sells them. If it's plain AK you want, I'm not sure I can help you. :(
Oh god no tactical AKs ever in my possession. Wood and steel only, Спасибо.
Oh god no tactical AKs ever in my possession. Wood and steel only, Спасибо.
Same here. Seeing any poor AK subjected to such a horrible torture would move me to emotion.
Is Classic Army any decent?
Not so much anymore. They used to be one of the best but anymore their quality has kind of taken a backseat, they're just not what they used to be. Their sport line guns are absolute shit too.
Better or worse than ICS? Because an ICS AKS-74u is the only thing I've found in stock over multiple websites. And even then I'm loathe to getting the 74u as I may one day want a GP-25/30.

What the fuck.
What the fuck.
Derp, the ICS is better, is what I meant.
Ok, I'm going to be an annoying (massive) faggot and would really appreciate people's opinions on these manufacturers: Classic Army VFC LCT ICS Ares All AKs apart for Ares which is a PPSH.

That period is over and their back to having great externals and horrid internals. Their ARs are still pretty good though. VFC: Pretty great inside and out. Many AK purists swear by them. LCT: Made body kits and furniture for a long time, which were terrific, but I'm not sure about their internals now, don't know anyone who has one, nor do I have one. ICS: Used to hear horror stories all the time, but they have made a substantial leap in quality recently. ARES: Used to be a branch of STAR, but now makes their own guns. Their overpriced and terrible. I know a guy who has the PPSH, and he says he likes it loads more than the Hexagon Productions and Hudson ones.

They vary from production run to production run and you should do a lot of research and take a lot of opinions and reviews before you make a purchase. Let me say that the good runs are incredible. I have an ARES TAR 21 and I have no complaints, great gun.
Just realised that every other post on this page is by me. Sorrow. The Ares I'm only considering because every AK that I might possibly be interested in is out of stock. It's like the UK sites WANT me to go capitalist.
I have the same ICS 74M you are looking at. Havent had the chance to game it yet so I cant speak for interior quality but the externals are goddamn fantastic.
Actually I'm generally sticking to fire-support.co.uk and the only ICS they have is the AKS-74u. :v: But I'm not really considering the black one, seeing as woods are so hard to find. I even had the dirtiest of thoughts about AKs and rails. :smithicide:
Hey guys, I'm planning on getting into airsoft, and one of the websites I saw, www.precisionairsoft.com , had the rifle I was looking for about $20 cheaper than the next site. Does anybody know if it is a reliable site? I've gotten scammed when purchasing stuff on the internet before, so I tend to be a bit weary of buying from a site I never have before.
You really should be going to http://www.airsoftgi.com/. People around here swear by it.
I'd pass on that site.

Three weeks later, it's not at my house, so I phone them up and they never answered for three days. Then I call them and threaten them to talk to me or else I will take legal action, and they pick up the phone mid call, when they finally send me the item.
