I live in Orange County. Barely an hour and half from NYC. I've never seen a gun shop here and I couldn't find one looking. All we have is Dicks and Gander Mountain.
http://ocshooters.com/B/storesranges.htm
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/01/28/wtf-less-lethal-50-bmg/ HAHA OH WOW
That's the same degree of "less lethal" as the KS-23: everything you fire with that is lethal within 40 meters, no matter how soft.
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/01/28/wtf-less-lethal-50-bmg/ HAHA OH WOW
Can you imagine a silicone .50BMG round hitting the ground right next to you and splattering all over the place? Or, worse, bouncing and basically being erratic as all hell. I'd run.
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/01/28/wtf-less-lethal-50-bmg/ HAHA OH WOW
Hate to be a spoilsport, but
UPDATE: Apparently this ammunition is designed for anti-piracy use at long ranges.
There'll be no illegal downloading within 1.5mi of that bad boy....
http://ocshooters.com/B/storesranges.htm
Half those places closed down or don't actually sell guns. Hell one of them is run out of his garage. One is a Deli, one is a bait and tackle shop, the rest are just gun ranges. I was on that site earlier reading up on handgun permits. It's basically easier for me to go get a license in PA and come back to NY with it.

You guys know that link I posted, of that store selling all that surplus? THEY HAVE PHOTOS OF THE PISTOLS AND NOTABLE RIFLES! Unfortunately, most of the rifles they pictured were prohibited machine guns, but they've got the photos up of a bunch of the more interesting stock, and it's BEAUTIFUL!

Anyone own a Kel-Tec Sub 2000? Thoughts on it?
Anyone own a Kel-Tec Sub 2000? Thoughts on it?
Have one and love it. Takes pistol mags, folds, can be field striped without any tools, is reliable as hell, is simple in operation, and it can smash a dinner plate at 100 yards. The only real disadvantages are the sights and the stiff bolt pull.

How long do special orders usually take? It's going onto two months and I'm wondering if I'm better off finding one at a gunshow.
Can't see the recoil being much with a rifle like that. Seeing as you said G17, it shoots 9mm. Then the recoil will be almost non-existent with the stock out and proper stance.
i've got 8 stripper clips and 100 7.62x54mmR rounds. where is my fucking permit holy shit
i've got 8 stripper clips and 100 7.62x54mmR rounds. where is my fucking permit holy shit
100? Why not 440 spam can? you disappoint me comrade
100? Why not 440 spam can? you disappoint me comrade
Last time i bought a spam can it never came with the fucking tool to open it, SO I THOUGHT! So I spent some time stabbing it with my bayonet and prying it. Then I found the tool afterwards, it fell to the bottom of the package and was covered in Styrofoam peanuts.
100? Why not 440 spam can? you disappoint me comrade
Didn't really want to get 440 at the time. Once I use up the 100 rounds though, 440 is probably our next buy.
That actually sounds like procedure for a Nagant :v: Fuck the tool, use the goddamn bayonet!
But they are cross-pike bayonets that do not cut cans every well.
have a .jpeg of my father's Lightweight Commander [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/KIALe.jpg[/thumb] I'm sorry if I ruined the thread :saddowns:
But they are cross-pike bayonets that do not cut cans every well.
Thus the stabbing, if you make enough holes you'll eventually be able to pull the ammunition through v:v:v [editline]8th February 2012[/editline]
have a .jpeg of my father's Lightweight Commander [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/KIALe.jpg[/thumb] I'm sorry if I ruined the thread :saddowns:
Minus the extruding magazine, that's sexy as fuck. I'd cap that grip and love it rong rong time.
Oh God, I remember seeing something like that at the Virginia NRA museum.
I believe its called a punt gun, used for wildfowling, or duck genocide haha.
Thought you would understand the thread inside joke by now Prusselusken? (you know your mosin love?) seems you took the hike though, you ok mate?
I've heard it enough times to make it fucking annoying instead of funny or clever.
They do a demonstration thing at the boat show every year Jesus Christ those things are loud.
Thing is, you'd expect a bigass cannon like that to be used against something worthy, like entire herds of deer. Or elephants. Or tanks. Or God. Instead nope, it's a duck gun.

It would be like a few thousand four year olds suddenly hitting your car with tiny ball peen hammers all at once.
