I can't lose fucking fat. Spent 3/4 of last year just cutting. It's like my body doesn't allow removing fat tissue . Un-fucking-believable.

I know a guy who is "lifting weights" and all he does is use the machines. I told him not to, but he thinks he'll get ripped on them from nothing. That's why I just know him, not worth being a friend; dumbness.

Made a 3 month workout plan March-May alternating between cardio and weights 5 days a week, I really hope I stick to this!

You should tell him to mix free weights and machines though.

Machines are designed to be used by everyone, a free weight exercise can be adjusted to your body by 100% and therefore activate the muscle more efficiently. And why would machines get you more "ripped" than free weights? I facepalmed so hard my palm still sticks to my face.
Half of the machines don't have enough weight on them. And from my experience, the fancier it looks, the less weight it can have. I went to an other gym one day and the freeweight side was packed full. So I went to the room with lots of fancy machines machines. I could do reps with every machines max weight. They had this weird horizontal leg press machine, where you could load 200 kgs on it. It felt like I was ½squatting 80 kg, but the whole machine was wobbling and looked like it was going to break at any moment.
