Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Metallica one of those bands that rarely allows their music to be used in tv show/movies/ads/etc? I only ask because I've heard two Metallica songs (Cyanide and Seek & Destroy) used as background music in NRL games here in Australia and I was wondering if they had to pay for that...
he irl hacked like Van Halen and heard Deep Purple and started drumming I think
clearly...jack bryce must be banned for not believing in van halen

Only time I've heard 'tallica on an ad.
The two times they played it during nrl are the only times I've ever shown any interest in the sport...
I heard Unforgiven III once during some slo-motion recaps.
for whom the bell tolls was in zombieland at the start.
I hear Nothing Else Matters on a lot of tv shows, and I heard the Judas Kiss a couple of times on some fucking weird injuries show. I've never heard any other songs though.

I was wondering who the guy with a towel on his head was, then it said Slash...
Why has OP used Suicide and Redemption as an example for Death Magnetic? It's one of the worst tracks on there.
Why has OP used Suicide and Redemption as an example for Death Magnetic? It's one of the worst tracks on there.
That's just your opinion, obviously the OP doesn't agree with you.
I think Suicide and Redemption is one of the best tracks, the way the song builds up to the solo's is awesome.
I think Suicide and Redemption is one of the best tracks, the way the song builds up to the solo's is awesome.
Yeah but it's nothing compared to Orion or Call of Ktulu.
Call of Ktulu is amazing. I plan on learning it on guitar. Minus solo :v:
Call of Ktulu is amazing. I plan on learning it on guitar. Minus solo :v:
Unnacceptable, you must learn it all. :colbert:
Or Mustaine will come and kick your ass :colbert: On a side note, what should I learn (say Pulling Teeth and get a :colbert:)
learn runnin with the devil [editline]05:32PM[/editline] it's really hard though so be careful
Why would Mustaine kick my ass for not learning the solo to a Metallica song after he left and I'm not very good so I don't think I'll learn anything complicated Seek and Destroy doesn't sound too hard outside the solo, I might give that a try.
Call is a Mustaine song iirc
"The Call of Ktulu" (Instrumental) Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton, Mustaine Yeah Mustaine helped write it He can now feel free to kick my inadequate guitar playing ass
Or Mustaine will come and kick your ass :colbert: On a side note, what should I learn (say Pulling Teeth and get a :colbert:)
Jump in the Fiyah.
agree with the above, Jump in the Fire
for whom the bell tolls is really easy
I've noticed Every teenage band ever covers it. Looks so damn simple I might learn it :downs:
Or Mustaine will come and kick your ass :colbert: On a side note, what should I learn (say Pulling Teeth and get a :colbert:)
Master of Puppets is good for your right hand, even if it is depressingly overplayed. Frayed Ends of Sanity is a good one
Enter Sandman's riff is great to play and it's pretty simple Even if it's even MORE over played than Master of Puppets
I've noticed Every teenage band ever covers it. Looks so damn simple I might learn it :downs:
i don't get it
i don't get it either
I've noticed Every teenage band ever covers it. Looks so damn simple I might learn it :downs:
I was in a band that covered FWTBT :saddowns:
