Post a viewpoint, theory or statement that changes the the way you see a movie and then discuss. post anything from the (seemingly) obvious or well known: -the dude with the bad haircut in "no country for old men" was the grim reaper. -the ending of taxi driver was all in Travis's head. -"James Bond" is not one man instead it is a codename applied to any agent who assumes 007 status. to the somewhat less sensible: -Chewbacca, C3PO and R2-D2 were rebel agents the whole time in star wars. -the events in Donnie Darko were a dream. -"Zion" was another part of the matrix built to deceive the humans who discovered the truth.

Ha! I remember after seeing that, I never watched Top gun again.
Technically, Tyler Durden wasn't making soap, he was making napalm.
Schindler's List was in colour but your TV was broken
Inception was a sitcom wait...
Schindler's List was in colour but your TV was broken
This changes everything!
Vader with a Jedi and Luke was actually a Sith, having been brainwashed by the Darth Kenobi
I can see you've been reading Cracked. I remember at least three of them from one article on there :v: Even the slightly crazy ones kind of make sense though.
I can see you've been reading Cracked.
Everybody who doesn't are missing out.
My favourite, which he missed off, was that Ferris Bueller's Day Off takes place in Cameron's mind.
I did like that theory. That article was probably on of the better ones I've read this week. Well, other than some of the war bad asses stuff which is just humorous.
I think the "No Country For Old Men" one makes me want to see it more. I've seen clips, but watching it in that mindset that he represents the grim reaper would be awesome.
I decided James Bond was a codename when I was about 13, after thinking 'hey...this cat never ages'
Rosebud is really slang for marijuana.
I decided James Bond was a codename when I was about 13, after thinking 'hey...this cat never ages'
plus he keeps looking different [editline]26th December 2010[/editline] ALSO: scott pilgrim vs. the world is all a dream
The Wizard of Oz was meant to be viewed with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon playing over it. The director predicted it.
No offense, but it's just silly to say things like "It was all a dream/imagined". You can say that about anything and it might be true.

Charlie Chaplin's tramp character was actually very rich but pretended to be poor so he could be happy. [editline]27th December 2010[/editline] Charlie Chaplin's tramp character was actually very rich but pretended to be poor so he could be happy.
toy story 3 didn't come out that long ago...
Maybe he is still a child.
-"Zion" was another part of the matrix built to deceive the humans who discovered the truth.
It's not like this wasn't spelled out in giant neon letters at the end of reloaded or anything.
Are you serious about the Zion thing? I'm never gonna understand the Matrix.
