Yeah, Juno.co.uk are meant to be emailing when they've got it in stock. I know it can be hard at times to get tunes pressed in time and that but it seems strange they gave such a definite date. http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/456477-01.htm Fairly pricey at £17 but worth it. Getting paid this friday, gonna pick up new Swindle release and hopefully Joy O's Ellipsis and anything that takes my fancy down the record shop
Can this be general dubstep and garage thread
I've been lurking here for years and the first time I saw your avatar I knew that you had good taste in music. [editline]6th June 2012[/editline]
In your opinion, of course.
Right, because more noise = better. I know you are entitled to your opinion and usually I wouldn't care, but I fear my emotions are getting the best of me at the moment. Skrillex is just a fad that will start to die off in a few years. When you've reached your thirties, you're going to think back and laugh at the music you listened to and perhaps even be embarrassed, while thisispain, doozle, myself and anyone who is into the original theme will be desperately looking for old songs of burial or any other artist in some obscure record shop or online because we knew it was the gold of our generation.
yes i do, which is why i know dubstep production is so simple
can i hear your songs please
Yooo, how the shit is that news, as if it were a real person!?
I dunno. Skrillex cameo on the Muppets movie maybe? [editline]8th June 2012[/editline]
I'd love to collaborate with an electronic artist... and I'd love to work with Skrillex, even though I've never heard his music. We don’t get electronic music in the swamp. There’s something about electricity and water that just doesn't mix
Bought some tunes the other day. Got new Swindle plate, Return II Space, couple of RSD singles and couple of other bits.
Knife Party is a duo consisting of 2 Pendulum members, Rob Swire and Gareth McGillen. I did not know that until now.
I didnt untill right now.....0 [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] http://soundcloud.com/damianmarley/skrillex-damian-marley-make-it Honestly this is awesome.
Saw Knife Party at Rockness on Friday and they were 'sickening'. In other news, new Blackmill. [editline]12th June 2012[/editline] Also saw Jakwob, who I had never heard of before, and they were fantastic. http://www.jakwob.com Well it's a 'he' but he had a vocalist and a guitarist live.

Was meant to be cashing a cheque and getting my hair cut but ended up going to the music shop and buying it and few other bits.
Never thought I'd actually like dubstep until a few months ago. I always thought that all dubstep was bad because of how rubbish Skrillex sounded like, until one boring day I decided to browse the UKFDubstep channel and listen to This is Dubstep 2011. It was all brostep, but then I heard a difference with some tracks, sounding old-school, but very awesome. Get Darker has been a source of dubstep for me now, especially with This is Dubstep 2012, with this great track.
Gem.
That's electro house but I fucking love The M Machine. [editline]19th June 2012[/editline] These ones on Jakwob's free album are amazing. Nice and laid back for ya
Any of you into the dubstep remixes of songs?
Depends. Youtube is chock full of 'dubstep' remixes but are mostly shit. Silkie did a sick remix of Emeli Sande's Heaven. Posted it a few pages back. There's a Silkie & Swindle mix for mixmag and it's perfectly mixes it into Out of The Blue. One of those mixes that makes you just want to get up, fucking bossing And Mala's remix of Love You To Life is a tune, so good in fact that my mum quite likes it.
Any of you into the dubstep remixes of songs?
90% of remixes are done by 12 year olds looking for attention but ones done by professional producers are usually great.
90% of remixes are done by 12 year olds looking for attention but ones done by professional producers are usually great.
Thats what im noticing. The bad ones are truly bad but when you hear a good one, its amazing.
