yes.
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftadvantage.com/images/m4a1-06.gif[/img_thumb] This is the style handguard I currently have on my M4. Will this work correctly on it? Codemonkey, as sexy as your Raider looks with it, think I can buy your ACOG off of you? I don't want to wait for dealextreme shipping, and you have the one I was going to get anyway.
Doc, how bad is it? I've never seen this happen before so I am confused. I'm imagining some horror scenario where that bit comes undone and clogs the tubes then the piston teeth get stripped and puppies die.

Yeah. That's the way I have mine. The things that keep it on the handguard poke up maybe 1mm at the most.
As my first post in the new thread, I want to send you all on a quest: find the "best," full metal, gas blow-back m4, with "realistic" mags (30 or so cap, metal) and any appropriate mods.
Yeah, the tallies used to amount up to 40, but they got rubbed off during a combat course sunday. I've decided now that i'm going to be lazy and just mentally note them. Really, I just use them to show if i'm getting better at airsoft or not, and how much I get for however long I keep my CM in service as my primary. I think the number now is 44.

Hopefully its fixed so I can get back to playing. Also, does anyone have any experience with the ACOGs off of Dealextreme?
Codemonkey does. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline] I looked through his and I liked what I saw.
I just noticed that the OP doesn't have my painting thread under my section.

I'm gonna go on a whim and say he has the most expensive one :v:
What are some mid-range ($200-$320) full metal and (full wood if applicable) models of each? M4 M16 Ak47 M14 I like the RPK, but just in case.
He's got this one, if I recall correctly. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/aluminum-alloy-laser-sight-rifle-scope-with-gun-mount-red-green-laser-configurable-32481

Welp as soon as I get some money, which I will be since my birthday is in two days, I'm gonna pick up that, and that rail/grip thing I was looking at earlier. That is if shipping doesn't shoot through the roof.

(it's a bit out of your range but it's worth it)
You can expand it, just preferable wooden AKs, though some like the G&G Ak103 are ok. [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] And CYMA vs. Dboys?

I kinda prefer the AKM and 47.

I just need something to go off of/look forward to. Starting another job this summer and it pays a decent amount.
And CYMA vs. Dboys?
DBoys, forever Dboys. I went full sprint down a hill and ran my gun into a fucking tree. Not a scratch.

[editline]18th May 2011[/editline] And CYMA vs. Dboys?
CYMA = Good internals, not as good externals Dboys = Opposite Personally, I'd say go with Dboys (not just because I own one). Internals are easier to replace then externals. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline]
DBoys, forever Dboys. I went full sprint down a hill and ran my gun into a fucking tree.
As my first post in the new thread, I want to send you all on a quest: find the "best," full metal, gas blow-back m4, with "realistic" mags (30 or so cap, metal) and any appropriate mods.
WE M16VN Open Bolt was just released. I'd imagine the open bolt system will come to their M4's soon. It will be better than the closed bolt version, which was known for bad accuracy even after upgrades. All newer open bolt WE GBBRs have pretty good accuracy and range.
WA based GBBRs are money pits, seen people waste hundreds even a thousand dollars on them and they're still not field worthy. WE on the other hand is very affordable ($230 for a G36C GBBR, M14 for $330 in some places) and are very skirmishible out of the box. The mags don't cost nearly as much as WA based mags either. Earlier WE closed bolt models weren't that accurate, but now all of their guns using the open bolt system have much better hop-up units. I can say my WE M14 easily outranges some AEGs when I toss .30g in it.
I hate WE. Bought about two pistols off them which didn't even survive a whole game. Is there any other brand you reccomand?
Trust me, their rifles are far more superior than their pistols. I owned a WE 1911 and I wasn't that impressed with it either. But I own both the WE M14 for nearly a year and the WE G36 for at least half a year and they've both lasted well. The M14 did have a trigger box issue, but was resolved with a CNC steel trigger box from RA Tech. Considering how much you're saving on the gun itself compared to a WA, a few replacement parts every now and then isn't that bad. There's also the King Arms M4, but they seem to have gone out of stock fairly fast. Mags are priced around the same as the WE. Haven't really heard much about it.
-snip- How much would shipping run for for just mags from Ehobbyasia?
Are King Arms mid caps good?
Retoast from last page.
Retoast from last page.
I use KA M4 mags. Their good and cheap.
All I needed to know. Have a wrench.
Which one will look better on my m4, a straight short mag like in vietnam or a normal curved mag?
