I love this show.:v:
I would update this with tons of new characters and shit, but its too hard to find decent pictures because i cant find any episodes online.
oh HELL YEAH! this thread is da BOMB!*booooooooooom*
It's already been mentioned once, but I find it damned interesting. MAJOR FUCKING ADVENTURE TIME SPOILERS, THIS COULD CHANGE THE SHOW FOR YOU. [sp] The land of Ooo is post apocalyptic. According to the creator, the show is set so far after a nuclear strike that life has begun anew, resulting in the various mutations such as Bubblegum found in the series. This is referenced at various points in the series- the intro includes a wasteland with an undetonated atomic bomb in it, in one of the episodes they're thawing blocks of ice with homemade flamethrowers, and find things like socks, debri, and brain-dead business men. In another episode, they find a large city underwater, but don't mention it, or even take a guess as to why it's there. It's for the good of the show, I suppose. If the characters knew that the world they lived in was a result of a nuclear war, it might be a biiit depressing.[/sp]
wow thats crazy
that is quite a back story for a cartoon.
I wish this show aired in Australia.

Just found this.
wow it really is true, watching the new episode about the ocean. [sp]At one point you see a small little mass in the middle of the ocean, a mess of broken buildings and debris, with an old tank sitting by it. Then when they go under the water you see all these building destroyed, along with cars scattered about on roads clogged up with sand.[/sp]
Need more Marceline the Vampire Queen episodes
There's a new one with her in it Monday [editline]05:19PM[/editline] I like that character too
this show reminds me so much of futurama. the main characters remind me of fry and bender, jake is voiced by john dimaggio (who's basically doing his bender voice), the ruined city underneath them, I love it
I liked the new episode
I read in the OP that it says new episodes come on at 8 PM on Mondays, but aside from that, can anyone tell me what time they regularly show episodes during the day? I've still only managed to catch parts of a few episodes.
Someone's been posting storyboards of the episodes around various places on the internet. Major spoilers for an upcoming episode ahead: [sp]There is going to be an episode where Finn and Jake find a vault full of humans, and take one named Susan up to the surface. Basically, Fallout: TAS. Anyone who doesn't want to accept the nuclear apocalypse story will be forced to sooner or later.[/sp] [editline]07:04AM[/editline] Here's the storyboard for those who don't believe me: [sp]http://www.scribd.com/doc/35686808/045-Susan-Strong-Storyboard[/sp]

Oh look, the thread is alive once again. I need to catch up with the show once more.
One of the artists on the show also has a twitter and a tumblr that she frequently posts art on. Including alternate versions of characters (Such as gender reversals)
