• How I cleared my skin and became "a smooth talking pimp"

you call that bad? i must have monstrous acne in that case holy shit
I took Accutane for almost two years. It was definitely not good times during those two years, but I can say and show you just how much it actually helped me. Here's an embarrassing picture of me back in 2006. At the time I was already on some silly cream stuff and what have you, the typical "cures" for acne that didn't require a prescription. I won't lie, they did certainly help a bit with the redness, but as you can see below my face still looked like a mine field. I don't have any pictures before I used even basic treatments, but I can assure you it was far worse. Now here below is a recent picture of me, six years after the above picture was taken. I have no acne at all and I'm perfectly healthy. In fact, I hold a class 1 medical certificate and I'm a pilot which to me proves that Accutane has had zero long term negative effects.
My friend Tom said to me a month ago on a night out something that stuck with me since. "Danny you've changed since I met you" "In what way?" "You were a mess when I met you. Not because you were drunk. But because you were a mess. Physically and socially." "Thanks Tom" "No- I mean, you've changed.. now you're a smooth talking pimp" "..Thanks Tom?" "It's compliment. I think."

(And here's another) .
Something tells me your friend Tom is even more of a "Nice Guy" if he thinks you're a pimp. Definitely confirmed if Tom is the guy in the bottom-right of the second picture in the OP.

you are still unattractive
I can bet you're ten times more unattractive just based on that sentence, nobody likes somebody with a personality like that.
Because it's impossible for a person to be attractive and make unfriendly comments.
That's awesome, congrats, OP! Now hit the gym and start hitting on chicks :D [editline]21st February 2012[/editline] Now that you're enjoying your newfound confidence, may I suggest a change of wardrobe and a new haircut? Go "extreme makeover" on yourself :v:
you are still unattractive
Says the guy on Facepunch nearing 10,000 posts.
Also, the way you're telling it in the OP makes you sound kinda douchy, while you don't sound like one in other cases.
It was supposed to be ironic. It just didn't come across that way [editline]21st February 2012[/editline]
If people were making fun of you because you have 'acne', why'd you want to socialize with them in the first place? More than likely it was your reaction was the part they found fun, as is the case with all bullying.
The only people that abused me were strangers in the street. I live in a town that Ricky Gervais described as "full of white trash" and "a shit hole". He met somebody that goes to my Uni and he LAUGHED at them. Instantly.
How did you get a picture with a celebrity like him?
I let him suck my cock. Actually I went to a convention for Patrick. And some surreal cinema for Tommy and Greg. I've never been to a cinema screening where people throw shit at the screen and heckle the whole time. Totally going back.
First of all, your acne is nowhere as what I would consider "bad" according to your photo in the OP. I've seen people with worse cases than you in real life quite often Second, You could've easily get rid of them with safer medications that you apply directly onto your face rather than taking pills that could've potentially destroy you, if you consult to a proper dermatologist. And last, you're still a fool for gambling with a drug that could've severely destroy your body over minor cosmetics.

I was rated a 7/10. I know there is worst. Second, I had been on such medications for a year. And last, it goes beyond minor cosmetics when you feel like shit every second of the day and can end up with permanent scars.
I managed to reduce my acne by 80% by switching to lactose-free milk and cutting out other milk-based products. People recommended stopping drinking milk, but then I realized that it must be something in the milk itself. Turns out Lactose was causing my acne.
Good for you OP I'm on this right now, and I've been really lucky: my skin looked better immediately. However, I have stomach problems. Bad ones.
you are still unattractive
protip "attractiveness" =/= physical attractiveness
you are still unattractive
jerk
You didn't have bad acne to begin with unless that picture is misleading.
I remember at the end of one party I ended up in tears
Jesus fuck, just how much of a pussy are you?
I just used some cream that ripped my skin apart (literally) and hurt like a son of a bitch, but only for the first two weeks or so. And it worked in matter of a few weeks. And even if a had sudden zit pop out, I just used that cream and it disappeared the same day. No side effects. I wouldn't want this cream on my dick though, oh my god that would be nasty when you think about it.
i had a pimple in high school once right before prom omg life cant get any worse
I had nodulocystic acne throughout my highschool career...it was IMPOSSIBLE to think that a day would come when I didn't grow a new, completely obvious lump on my face. I went through a full treatment cycle of accutane, and it cured my condition in much the same way as you would hope for in a best case scenario. I only wish I had done it sooner, considering the psychological impact of school life with such an obvious imperfection. And now, some years later, (minus a few pock marks on my face) it's like I suffered that problem a lifetime ago. My confidence grew as I was able to look someone in the eye, knowing they would look back at mine, and not at all the pulsing orbs under my skin.
Because it's impossible for a person to be attractive and make unfriendly comments.
Yeah you're right actually. Everybody has said something offensive like that before so I suppose with my view that'd make everybody unnattractive, maybe he's just had a bad day or maybe he's trying to shrink the OPs now enlarged ego. My bad.
Can you actually grow out of this permanent acne stage of life though? I was considering just growing a beard so I didn't have to keep washing my face with cream but then I'd have to clean a beard.
if you cleaned your face a couple of times a day acne should go away eventually. [editline]22nd February 2012[/editline] with WATER
I cured my lack of confidence by weightlifting and cured my acne with Benzoyl Peroxide.
What the fuck kind of place do you live in where people will actually throw shit at you because of acne?
Planet Earth
I wasn't paying very close attention and thought you turned into Tommy Wiseau I'LL TAKE FIFTY
I'm 17 years old and I've never had actual acne, just the odd zit here and there. Guess I'm lucky :v:
For the past few years I've suffered with acne. It happens at any age, not just when you're a kid. The best method I ever found: New pillow case every night. Seriously. When you sleep, you move your head around and the oils from your face and body get all over the pillow, and the next night you're putting dirty oil on your skin, thus causing acne. I still suffer from bouts of acne, but I still stick with my thing that a fresh pillow case every night is the best answer.
I've been using accutane for a year now and I still have acne, but that's probably just me.
I found the the best way to cure acne is take multivitamins, get plenty of sleep, drink a lot of water, eat a healthy balanced diet, and using a non scented soap and moisturiser. I found that overwashing and drying my skin out actually made it worse. I'm happy for you man, I know the horrors of acne and the anxiety it can cause. I can bet you're ten times more unattractive just based on that sentence, nobody likes somebody with a personality like that.
Not unattractive in terms of looks, more in terms of being brutally honest [editline]22nd February 2012[/editline] and finding other people unattractive
