I actually really like the look of that 416C. Especially the stock
I'm with felix here the 416c looks the business. Me I'd stick on a ready mag, fore grip and a red dot sight and I'd be good to go.
it looks crazy practical, and sexy too
would buy if i had any interest in another AR-pattern
I'm tempted to say fuck it to the Real Sword M4 and get the M416c.

416c is attractive.
Real Sword M4 will be exponentially better on the insides and outsides, even if its an already existing design.
probably proprietary as shite on the realsword though

Yeah, but its a new system that intends to rival Systema quality while being an assload cheaper. Not sure if its computer controlled or just a more logical design, but people are flipping shit about them.
And after using a few Real Swords, I'm pretty confident that they can do what they say they can.

They're good internally, but they won't rival a PTW.
$1420 is pocket change yo

My Real Sword SVD greatly outperforms PTW's in accuracy and range. I ran in one of the most gearwhored squads in Pine Plains V, with about 8 PTW's brought with us and another 6 in reserve.
No, the PTW's are really neat and all, but they break down fairly frequently, and aren't that impressive in their performance.
Basically just a bunch of small things that help make it perform realistically, but they're not really exceptional in airsoft performance. I've had the cash to buy one multiple times and I've always bought something else.
[editline]7th February 2012[/editline]
Case in Point:
My friend's PTW snapped in half while we sitting on the bleachers.
IN FUCKING HALF.
He didn't drop it, he picked it up and the upper receiver/barrel area decide to leave one another for greener pastures.
ptws are overhyped as FUCK
tbh they're the same as normal aegs except a lot more money and proprietary parts
for $1200 you could do so much more
The only people I know who like PTW's are milsim junkies with lots of money to burn on things like Gen 3 or above NVGs and other expensive pieces of kit.
For anybody who wants performance over impression/realism, don't buy one.
Oh and a Polar Star will beat a PTW in all aspects besides realism as well, and they cost far less.
For less than the $1200 you spend on a PTW, I could build a far better M4 from scratch.
not to mention the $40 magazines
not to mention the $40 magazines
Not that I have any room to talk about that considering WA mags are ~$50 a pop :v:
Though they are of spectacular quality and performance

yeah but you know, GBBR mags are inherently expensive
AK-105, bakelite mags, and spring have been purchased.
Just ordered an AWS Raptor MOSFET for my CA SR25. Might set it for semi only and upgrade to DMR FPS limits.
Cool, we can be SR-25 bros. Mine right now is the G&G so it comes semi only, but at the moment its at rifleman fps to avoid a MED. Also, I got stuck with the SPR since the suppressor variant was sold out everywhere. However, I'll probably upgrade that and the SVD at the same time with FETs and higher strength springs to make real DMR rifles.
I actually have 2 SR25's, if I had the money I'd buy another mosfet for the other gearbox. Set one for sub 400fps, other for 400+, then just swap lower receivers depending on the field. I'd have one DMR upper with the standard SR25 rail, barrel, suppressor, with my prometheus (I think) PSG-1 length inner barrel. Other upper receiver would have my JP Rifle Handguard with a M16 barrel of sorts, along with either the ACOG, or be fancy and use a higher power scope along with the T1 mounted at 45 degrees on the hand guard.
Yeah, I might keep the SR-25 at rifleman's (sub 420fps) and just push the SVD up because I know it can handle it. I'll probably just throw in a mosfet, and work on the hopup some and it'll be done. At one point we had it wired to Deans with a huge 11.1v 4000mah lipo on there, its trigger response was insane.
I'm real cheap on multiple optics, I've only got 2 scopes and that's it. Right now its using an adjustable 3.5x-10x zoom scope, mostly for spotting people through brush.
For some reason I seem to just collect a bunch of those 3x-9x scopes through gun trades. Think I have 3 of them and I rarely use them.
when i'm old enough and have money...
when i'm old enough and have money...
im just going to give you a little hint. Dont expect that untill 2013 knowing kwa.
Probably in the Summer. We're already having give aways by major players in the Airsoft community, hints from retailers and according to the most reason one they are going to be around $380.
Won't get it till next week but it's been a damn long time since I've bought anything.
This isn't going to be my next purchase, but I'll buy it eventually!
So fucking glad that I found it!
If they went to the trouble of putting a charging handle on the left side they should have also added a left side fire selector switch.
I mean, the Type 89 has one you can buy and it's got more or less the same selector design.
