hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng choosing between this or a mustang is so fucking hard
Mustangs are too common in my eyes, I see alot. But I can never see enough firebirds
I have great news for the supra however my post is worthless without pictures, I'll be back tomorrow with them
just got a manual today and I had to drive it home whenever I start from a stop, I can feel the wheels spin for a little bit before I start moving. what am I doing wrong, too much gas? letting off the clutch too fast?
Uhh, probably both. You shouldn't be getting wheelspin off the line. It sounds to me like you're dumping the clutch to avoid stalling it. Find a sweet spot around 900-1500RPM(Every engine has it's own sweet spot, even two 'identical' ones), let the clutch out over about two seconds, and feed in just enough gas to maintain that RPM. That should give you a decent base with which to practice on without jackrabbitting every start. Listen to this takeoff I made in my Ford to get an idea. You can clearly hear how long the clutch is allowed to slip, and it isn't long.

My friend (who previously owned a '97 Integra) is now considering getting a '96 Camry. I will not stand for this.
Get the Firebird, definitely. Mustangs are WAY too common. Also Firebirds are smexy
But the it's my least favorite era of Firebirds. If I get it, I'd feel like I'm "settling" Mustang has -better looks imo -newer (better for reliability) -pretty decent power Firebird has -more power (about 350hp) -t tops -its GM Crappy list but still
anybody knows holset he351ve? I'm thinking about getting one to replace my little ct-26 upgraded...
anybody knows holset he351ve? I'm thinking about getting one to replace my little ct-26 upgraded...
Do it. Holset is the shit. Whenever I get the money to buy a new turbo to replace this ebay T04E, I'll be getting an Hx35 (The ones they run on 12v cummins, fairly common).

If you know a cop you can get these stickers/cards and basically it gives you free riegn to drive like an asshole IE people in some areas get away with going 100+ and cutting people off because they know a cop

We got them a grant to reinstate part of there bicycle patrols and new copy machines. Yeah, most of the people who have them are faggots and abuse it but if they are that person the Cops won't know them and they still get fucked when the cop asks "Howd you get that sticker?". In our retrospect the only tickets that we ever got was one for my grandfather going through the new red light camera cause he didnt do a complete full stop.
Around here the firebird only had 200hp v6. THe trans am and ws6 had the 350hp that video looks like a trans am with the ws6 package. In the 02-04 era car ls motors all the way. Driving a manual. R u sure it is tire spin and not clutch slippage?
-newer (better for reliability)

Newer does not guarantee more reliable. My '85 is far more reliable than it's 2012 descendants, for example. Honestly the only flaw with the firebird, IMO, is that it's an absolute son of a bitch to work on. It's stone cold reliable, handles better than the Mustang, isn't owned by everyone and their housecat, and thankfully doesn't need to be worked on very often.

So, what is with those Police stickers on your windshield? What do they stand for?
So, what is with those Police stickers on your windshield? What do they stand for?
He has them for helping out the local police by helping them get grants and such. They're mostly used by people who know police officers and it's a sort of "Don't give me a ticket" card, but that's only what douchebags use it for. IIRC.
So its like a political bribe.
I don't think people usually have them from bribing the police. I think either genuinely generous people have them who have helped out the police greatly, and douchebags who are friends with a Cop so they get a free speeding pass.
Aka donations, aka political bribes.
Aka donations, aka political bribes.
If you're trying to start an argument, please leave now.
If I started it, sorry. We dont have those where I am so I was just trying to get informed.
Just teasing, shit.
So, what is with those Police stickers on your windshield? What do they stand for?
Over here it allows you basically to get away with little things that's p much it but anything excessive is a no go
